I didn't actually walk until I was around 3 years old. For most of my crawling period I was a " roller " . Rolled everywhere I went. When I became capable of standing, I walked along behind a stroller that I pushed everywhere. I am told that suddenly one day I came walking on my own from the back yard and exclaimed to my mother that I would no longer be needing my stroller because I was going to walk on my own.
