Guest guest
look at magdahavas.org or environmental health trust Next-up.org or electrosensitivity.uk Australia is putting out some good independent studies on cell phone dangers etc, are you sure that they do not recognise ES ? Any how keep your living simple on the technology front, buy a meter such as an electrosmog detector, triefeild meter or acousticom to check out your living spaces, but dont go mad with the meters. puk In a message dated 18/04/2011 14:45:38 GMT Daylight Time, mscherrylane@... writes: Hi from Oz! I was wondering if there are any personal recommendations people have on say clothing shielding products and other useful items eg laptop shields, low emf phones, antistatic mats etc etc...as I'd like to place an order with lessemf sometime soon. Would really appreciate feedback on products you actually have and any other suggestions you might have. Also I was wondering if any sufferers would like to email or snail mail with me as this is not a recognised problem in Australia and I'm not aware of any support groups here. Guest guest
Also from Oz! There are no groups in Oz that I am aware of Zoe and you are correct that ES is not recognised here. In fact most people believe you are just making up stories when you try to tell them that their 3G phone is burning you. The info from Europe and USA seems to not make it to the news here apart from the odd story. Well, if one is able to successfully cure themselves of ES (as some people have), then they shouldn't have a problem being surrounding by people with smart phones, etc. The most common cure for ES that I've seen so far is successfully completing a heavy-metal detox, with mercury being a likely suspect. Guest guest
Grin, Oz is the Australian abbreviation for Australia. We call ourselves Aussies, or Ozzies. Maybe some of us do have magical powers though ...well that's how it looks when you are holding so much charge(?) in your hands that when you try and stuff a beanbag all the beans fly far in the opposite direction!!! *sigh > > > >> > >> Hi from Oz! > >> > >> I've just relocated out of the city because my EMF sensitivity became so > >> bad...I've actually had to stop everything and am in the process of getting > >> electrical and plumbing modifications on my house, in the meantime I shut > >> the power down to the bedroom which has helped but my sleep is still not > >> great. Guest guest
not to mention can you believe the lack of emf level regulation here? Sweden and Russia safety limits are soooo low compared to ours. I spoke to an american college graduate who had written his thesis on the matter and apparently the way they calculate regulation safety levels is by population density which of course is so idiotic since everyone lives on the coast and the vast centre of our country is so empty nad laregely unliveable! > > > > > > > Hi from Oz! > > > > I've just relocated out of the city because my EMF sensitivity became so > > bad...I've actually had to stop everything and am in the process of getting > > electrical and plumbing modifications on my house, in the meantime I shut > > the power down to the bedroom which has helped but my sleep is still not > > great. Guest guest
hey I talk to my plants no the issue I'm more worried about is how does one make a living with ehs since most ways to earn one involve being able to integrate with normal society, use emf radiating equipment etc...the way I am going seems like that infamous pioneer of EHS, the Swede Per Segerback!!! Who has to bury his electricity cables 30m from his house...But at least he is an engineer and knows how to do it, plus he gets support from his country! > > Anyway I would like to be able to integrate more with normal society without feeling so ill so quickly! > > I don't feel it is possible unless your friends are also avoiding > high-tech emitting toys. > > And you still have to avoid public places, so having ES is a disaster > for social-oriented extroverts. > > > So says the introvert with a couple horses for friends > >

Guest guest
Thanks for that. That's a very likely factor for me. I'm going to arrange to be tested as soon as I can find somewhere in this country where I can get one done!!! I have heard of certain " foods " like zeolite which help detoxify heavy metals- if you or anyone has used this with success could you please let me know? I have also heard that zeolite is snake oil...but if I do test full of heavy metals I will probably try to rectify with appropriate foods... > > > > Anyway I would like to be able to integrate more with normal society > >> without feeling so ill so quickly! > > > > I don't feel it is possible unless your friends are also avoiding > > high-tech emitting toys. > > Well, if one is able to successfully cure themselves of ES (as some > people have), then they shouldn't have a problem being surrounding > by people with smart phones, etc. > > The most common cure for ES that I've seen so far is successfully > completing a heavy-metal detox, with mercury being a likely suspect. > > Marc >
Guest guest
You might see if EMR Australia can do anything for you. Guest guest
Hi, Zoe and ,  I agree, . However, I do find some companionship doing some things like bike riding, going hiking, picnicing in nature, and gardening..... If I were younger (I am 60), I would do more sports activities like white water rafting, kiyacking, join an outdoor yoga group, team sports out doors.... But I found it easiest to join an art club (which paints outdoors in summer), a gardening group, and the like. Once I made friends in the groups, they usually would turn their cell phones off if they were bothering me.  Right now, I am too preoccupied with family needs to be active in anything or even keep up with my online friends! (Of which I have many great and lasting friendships.) BTW, I also have dietary restrictions which limit my friendships--I can only feed my friends, we cannot go out to a restaurant or they cannot cook for me. So, it is doable, but you have to really think outside the box.  Good luck, Zoe. If I were not up to my eyeballs in alligators, right now, I would welcome your friendship and snail mail. Diane > Anyway I would like to be able to integrate more with normal society without feeling so ill so quickly! I don't feel it is possible unless your friends are also avoiding high-tech emitting toys. And you still have to avoid public places, so having ES is a disaster for social-oriented extroverts.
