My husband has been having strange symptoms in the past two days and I wanted him to go to a doctor but he refuses. He says that in his life since he's been an adult he's had blood in his urine a few different times accompanied by uncomfortable feeling when passing urine but it always passed and he didn't worry about it.

This time is Worse/Different. I saw a few spots of blood on his unmderpants and asked him about it. He refuses to go to the doctor.

He said he passed something in his urine yesterday that was solid-ish with a tiny tinge of blood, but this morning, he had a feeling of pressure when urinating that was uncomfortable and a larger ovalish shaped solid-ish clump came out of his urine that was according to him "mulit-colored" and had "blood about it. He said when he was urinating he felt "pressure" and then something "plopped" into the toilet but that he wasn't sure what he was looking at and waht was what cuz he had spit into the toilet first.

He suspects he was passing a kidney stone.

Should I rush him to a doctor? He refuses to go, doesn't want to go.

He was about to drink a huge pot of coffee this morning ( I don't drink coffee and never have but for in the course of my life less than a dozen cups of Starbucks cafe latte) but I diverted him, and got him to drink the beet juice instead.

I heard somebody else or read in the archive somewhere taht Yarrow is good for blood in the urine?

Peace,

Cathie

If he is passing kidney stones then he needs to lay off the coffee. He

should only be drinking water with lemon added, parsley leaf tea or

parsley root tea with some ginger and marshmallow root added in and

maybe even a little Golden seal. Try and get him drinking distilled or

purified water with no minerals in it and adding in the juice of 1/2

organic lemon. The lemon will help to dissolve the stones as will the

parsley tea.
