Guest guest
Hi Max: What an absolutely wonderful idea! And great commentary too. Many many thanks. Guest guest
's example has inspired me to give up some of my not-so-healthy snacks (no sugar ice cream for example, among others). I now snack on frozen berries, or Trader Joe's frozen mango chunks (another idea posted by ) or similar items that are low cal and healthier. The frozen fruit is especially luscious in the summer and just as tasty as any sorbet or sherbet. on 6/17/2004 7:38 PM, maxwell_mom at mrobinso@... wrote: > Since those new to CRON are often curious about what experienced CRON > people eat, I've decided to start a food diary blog. I'm still in the learning planning stages, and need to set up some examples of how meals will work for my hectic lifestyle - this is just the sort of thing I needed Caroline
Guest guest
Hi -- Small note: other online diaries (Xanga, for instance) have easy picture copy/paste options. I'm not sure if you are using fitday.com to analyze your nutrient intakes, but I have found it quite easy to simply go into fitday, copy my daily summary, return to Xanga, paste and Voila . I realize that this would require switching systems but I just wanted to let you know. Great idea, by the way -- I can imagine that this would be very helpful to those new to CRON. I had searched for something along those lines when I was first starting out (~2 years ago) and even more recently have been looking for CRON diets against which I could compare my own. I appreciate, as I'm sure many others do, the creativity and energy you expend in doing this. Best Wishes, Eri > > Since those new to CRON are often curious about what experienced > CRON > > people eat, I've decided to start a food diary blog. Guest guest
I am enjoying blogging my food diary - there's three days there now - at crdiary.blogspot.com. It's bound to improve the quality of my diet, since I have to tell the world the results. I've kept a fully analyzed diary of my eating for four years now - and have found that this makes all the difference in compliance for me. It keeps me from eating too much, since I hate to see it there in the data. I rarely go more than 200 calories over my goal - and then it's a special occasion, like Christmas or a family birthday. I use my own Access tool, which makes a nice image of the nutrition data, but won't copy easily. As soon as I get access to my internet provider server space, I can store the pictures there and point to them. Xanga is also nice - and seems very similar to blogspot. > Hi -- > > Small note: other online diaries (Xanga, for instance) have easy > picture copy/paste options. Guest guest
's food diary has been added to the files under " BEGINNING CRON' (file name: " Desirable Foods to include in one's diet " ) and also to the " links " section for easy reference. on 6/19/2004 8:05 PM, maxwell_mom at mrobinso@... wrote: > I am enjoying blogging my food diary - there's three days there now - > at crdiary.blogspot.com.
