Guest guest
I also use sucralose. I respond differently to sucralose than other non-caloric sugars, and that it nearly always helps my CRON efforts.... both CR and ON improves. This is just me, and may not be the same for everyone else. As for safety, each of us will judge & weigh present evidence from scientific studies, NIH, pubmed and the scientific literature. While there's no evidence that sucralose is harmful at this point, science only knows so much. For safety, the least processed foods would be first choice. I just hope to avoid reading about Mercola or his cohort Mark Gold in reference to anything scientific. Having investigated their references myself, I have found their claims about sucralose to be unsupported, and that their websites spread their own spin on sucralose ( & other subjects!). I conclude that they both are quacks, a disgrace to the scientific community & a disservice to the public. Peer reviewed studies can be found at http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi . I doubt that a moderate use of sucralose is harmful, however the original poster's comment about gallons of Tab does have merit, and I am sure from the rest of your post that you agree.
