Hi Loni,

 

My friend Dafna sent this original post.  She had a court date on Monday for

two interrelated issues: One was about an  eviction after an altercation with

the landlord (she was accused of assault) and the other case was regarding the

assault charge pressed by the landlord.

 

Dafna is also an attorney.  She's had a history of encountering really polite

people since coming down with EHS about 2 years ago. This was an eye opener for

her.  She represented herself with mediation and the assault charge was

dropped.  I'm not sure about the outcome of the eviction.  She wants me to

call her, so I will find out what I can.

 

Dafna is very idealistic and a very feisty young woman (in a totally good

way).  We need young fighters on our behalf.  She was appalled that the court

did not understand why she requested special accomodations and she ended

up getting sent to a psych hospital against her will prior to the trial.  I

believe that she is still involved in the case, but I'm not sure about the

details.

Pam,

Be sure to let us know. We need more professionals like her to help fight for 

her & our rights.

It must be awful being sent to a place like that for ES. Most psychiatrists

won't get it.
