travelling to Dominican Republic

hi,

I just found out I need to Travel for a family event. Currently

there is alerts about Dengue Fever & Malaria in the area. I am against

the blanket innoculations that are recommended before travelling

there. Other than the steps used to minimize any exposure to insect

bites what other precautions of protocols can we use to maximize our

protection against hepatitis etc when travelling away from home?

I'd take those homeopathically let's say in 30 CH for some days before a possible exposure.
