Guest guest
I have started in January and I need some advice to grow my business please. What is the best way to market my business? Is it better to specialize in a certain area? How do I get clients to come back? What is the best way to sell SCIO and it's benefits to the client? What additional service can I provide to compliment the SCIO? Is it possible to sell SCIO services to other health professionals, like doctors and psychologist? Advice and input will be much appreciated. Regards Liesl

Guest guest
Hello Liesl, I read your post about starting your business with the SCIO. I had the same questions when I got started, but I got help from my mentor, Maraia Hoffman, who created a business that teaches SCIO practitioners to build biofeedback businesses http://www.eventhorizonenergetics.com/ I'd start by checking out the website, or I should say our website. Her information and materials helped me so much that I joined her business. I wanted to help others create successful businesses as well! Next sign up for the newsletter. Event Horizon Energetics is focused on answering the exact questions you have. I know because I had the exact same questions. I took the tools Event Horizon had to offer and it started to work! Below is the experience I had. 1. when I first started I was marketing to whoever would pay... I did my trainings (I am a specialist), and worked at a training facility helping to train others in the navigation of the device, here is Los Angeles, I did get some sessions out of my makeshift marketing plan but I was not able to really focus on doing consistent effective sessions. Maraia told me to research where my Strong points were, and asked what was my professional experience. I had 9 years of working with special needs children, that was my " nitch market " . I had lots of contact in that field and could get a hold of leads relatively easy. 2. Yes, it can be better to specialize in a certain area, I do. I was taught by my mentor, Maraia, who is also a practitioner, to do so and it saved my business, or rather gave me a business. Maraia taught me that if I spread myself too thin I would be ineffective. She told me to focus, focus focus on the group of individuals I wanted to help. 3. About getting clients to come back, that is a big answer, but the short of it is to create a strong referral program. Give them a reason to return, set it up so they are committed to at least 3 sessions so you can work your magic, give them incentive to refer to others, give them something tangible to walk away with at the end of the session. Maraia created a 3 day biofeedback business building bootcamp, and this question is at the heard of the training. Honestly when I first started to follow Maraia's advise I thought it's not going to work, but I did as she directed and it worked! The Biofeedback Bootcamps are a great place to start your entire business, helped me. 4. Sell the benefits of the SCIO? Know who you are talking to. A doctor will have an entirely different spin on how the device benefits someone than Reiki worker. Know your market. This is why it is important to know your nitch market! I researched the businesses in the 10 mile area around where I lived and found the only facility in Northern America that worked with Cerebral Palsy with a certain suit that helps their development. I drove by that location for years and never knew they were their. But by listening to Maraia and what Event Horizon Energetics teaches I found them and was in business! She was talking about basic business principles that focus on how to get your biofeedback business running. 5. Their are many, if not too many services to offer with the device. this all depends on what area you are wanting to specialize in. I've heard of small water bottles being placed on the tray during the session, or packets of free samples of whole food powdered shakes, B.E.S.T. analysis, free books (you can price the cost into your fees), ect. I tried with and without, and found that Maraia was right, what we do is an intangible service, our clients need to walk away with something in their hands. 6. Yes, it is very possible to sell SCIO services to health professionals, its a matter of knowing who you want to focus on, learning what their industry is wanting to get done and then learning how to talk their talk, to get the message across. I researched that group that worked with Cerebral Palsy and learned what they were focused on, then after meeting with Maraia I positioned my business to compliment what they do. Because of Maraia's business, Event Horizon Energetics, I was pre-qualified before I walked into the door. sure it takes some time to research a business, but as I was taught and experienced, it pays off. I hope I wasn't to general, If you have questions please let me know Galvan eventhorizonenergetics.com 310-717-4523 > > I have started in January and I need some advice to grow my business > please. > What is the best way to market my business? > Is it better to specialize in a certain area? > How do I get clients to come back? > What is the best way to sell SCIO and it's benefits to the client? > What additional service can I provide to compliment the SCIO? > Is it possible to sell SCIO services to other health professionals, > like doctors and psychologist? > > Advice and input will be much appreciated. > > Regards > Liesl >
