Guest guest
32 weeks is not near full term. My baby turned in the last 10 days. Try 'inverting' breach after test. If you don't know how to invert e-mail me direct at mail@..., Bye Sue turning a breech baby My daughter is 32 weeks pregnant, and the gynae tes her the baby is breech, and there is little chance that the baby will turn, so she wants to book her for a caesarian section. Apparently, the baby's legs are not bent, but are straight, and there is lvery ittle fluid inthe womb for it to turn on its own. My question is: is there a way that i can help with the SCIO and probable "persuade" the baby to turn and be born naturally/ Thanks in advance for all you knowledgeable people out there, your help is really appreciated. Guest guest
HI. I've been told that if you use a flashlight, the baby will follow the light. So go slowly, and reposition the baby by having him follow the light. Hope this helps! Also, my accupuncturist has said they have success in turning babies. And, finally, my Watsu practictioner's partner had tons of success turning babies. Hope there's enough suggestions here to help. Have a blessed day and congratulations to your daughter! www.dreamachievertravel.com From: Angel Health <mail@...>Subject: Re: turning a breech babyqxci-english Date: Wednesday, September 3, 2008, 5:10 AM 32 weeks is not near full term. Guest guest
Added comment to my previous email. I also agree that 32 weeks is not full term it can happen in the last week of pregnancy. If she is worried she can have regular checkups but not ultrasound as this affects the baby. the normal check-up is enough to see if the baby is happy and there is no stress.Best Regards Branco QuantuMedical Ltd. Guest guest
I agree with the responses already given and have one more tip to share. If she doesn't mind too much she can put a bag of frozen vegetables (like peas or something) on her abdomen up by the baby's head at the top of her uterus or wherever the baby's head is at the moment and that could encourage the baby to turn head down as well. I practiced as a midwife for many years before retiring and I have also used Pulsatilla in a 200c as one poster suggested and have also found acupuncture to be helpful. It really sounds like your daughter is being set up. At thirty-two weeks, it is much too early to schedule a cesarean for this reason. I would be more concerned about the lack of amniotic fluid, if that really is the case. If the doctor is not concerned enough about the oligohydramnios (low amniotic fluid) then she probably has sufficient water, but his eagerness to schedule a cesarean sounds really fishy to me. Guest guest
My first baby did not turn until about a week before the delivery. My second baby had the cord wrapped around the neck three times and was in quite a lot of distress. In the hospital, the nurse commented that if the baby would just roll over a little bit, it would take a lot of stress off the cord. I told her I would ask the baby to move, and she just rolled her eyes at me. I spoke to him in my mind, and he moved off the cord while she was standing there. Tell your daughter to talk to the baby and tell the child her concerns, and what needs to be done. Some EFT for stress for both of them couldn't hurt. Guest guest
From my experience as a Homeopathic Doctor , Pulsatilla is an incredibly reliable Homeopathic Remedy which has never failed me, nor my peers, to turn a breech baby into the proper birthing position. I would give one dose(only one pill, one time) of Pulsatilla HOmeopathic Remedy(strength 30CH/30C/30K=all the same strength). The baby would likely turn around within a day or two, if not I would proceed to give one pill, ONE TIME ONLY, of Pulsatilla 200CH and that will indeed turn the baby around. If, the baby decides to go breech again before the due date I would repeat giving ONE PILL ONE TIME ONLY of whatever strength(30CH or 200CH)worked fastest, the baby will return to gestational position. feel free to email me directly if you want more info and good luck Bonnie, Homeopathic Doctor From: Angel Health <mailangelhealth (DOT) co.uk>Subject: Re: turning a breech babyqxci-englishDate: Wednesday, September 3, 2008, 5:10 AM 32 weeks is not near full term. Guest guest
You probably know it is REALLY important for the baby to be born vaginally. Aside from the trip down the birth canal sqeezing out the lungs etc., the baby needs to swallow the mother's bacteria to populate it's interior ecosystem instead of being inocculated with whatever happens to be floating around in the surgery suite! Good luck with this, you should still have plenty of time. I would contact a midwife. They have many ways to deal with this situation. Guest guest
Thank you all for your replies, I have forwarded them to my daughter, and will also treat the breech condition on the SCIO. However , there was a slight mis-understandig, the Caesarian section would be planned for the 38th week, but she would have to book much earlier, that is where the 32nd week came in. Thank you all again for all your advice, it is really greatly appreciated.
