Guest guest
I read the article, thank you. Batter coated French Fries are processed food - not a fresh vegetable in any stretch of the English language, and shame on you for defending this farce. " ...applies only to rules of commerce, not nutrition,... " These two are not connected? I would not put it past someone to exploit this unreality for a commercial interest. These are the types of shenanigans that lead to things like " Raisins, hydrogenated vegetable oil " . Maybe raisins with hydrogenated oil have a better shelf life or make spoiled raisins palatable or something, but they are not raisins and should not be sold as such. Look at what's going on with the adulteration of " organic " produce. Organic produce is now COMMERCIALLY defined to include items that were not raised organically. This type of unreality in the legal system is like a free radical in a biological system. Accepting unreality, like highly reactive radicals, starts a chain reaction, like dominoes. Eventually, normally honest sensible people now find all kind of nonsense tolerable that would have previously been an outrage. In a biological system the chief danger of a free radical comes from the damage they can do when they react with important cellular components such as DNA, or the cell membrane. Cells may function poorly or die if this occurs. The legal system and commerce are our countries DNA and life blood. People become cynical, resigned, apathetic, and compliant in a system that requires constant vigilance to be healthy. Which one of these are you? I recommend you watch the nightly news or read any newspaper and make your own analogy to the legal system, unreality and free radical effects on a system. Sorry for going so far off topic. I guess I am in a patriotic mood today, it being July 4th and all. Thanks. > > > Read the article carefully, please: > ...applies only to rules of commerce, not nutrition,...
