the above link will take you to yogurt and kefir making supplies... I personally find the floater approach (their 43-J kefir maker) about as easy as it gets and at $15 it's cheaper than I bought mine for.

I recall making yogurt 20-30 years ago and don't remember why I stopped, but it was a bit more complicated requiring proper application of heat... kefir works fine at room temperature.

The link above will also take you to cheese making supplies... I have dabbled in making soft cheese from the Kefir curd and it worked well, but I don't eat cheese routinely.

How do you make kefir? How do you make yogurt?I have plenty of containers I'd much prefer to refill.Take care, Easy===john roberts wrote: When it comes to food prep I'm pretty lazy... I make 2qts of kefir at a pop,and then with a blender mix in berries and little sucralose beforere-filling old yogurt containers. Two qts low fat milk and some berriesfills about 10-12 typical yogurt containers.Cheaper, better, and IMO easier to pick up a half gallon of milk vs allthose yogurt containers... I'm even recycling my yogurt containers.JR
