Calculating BMI Using Pounds and Inches

Hi folks:

For anyone who finds it tiresome to have to convert to metric

measurements in order to calculate their BMI for Francesca's new

table, the following shows you how to calculate it using pounds and

inches:

I am not sure if I have posted this before. But for those interested

in calculating their BMI who are more familiar with pounds and inches

than with meters and kg, and would prefer to avoid the hassle of

converting the units, the following is the formula:

(pounds x 703)/inches²

As previously noted by a number of people here, especially JR, BMI

has its limitations.
