Guest guest
Comparison of the Bio-Availability of Combination Vitamin and Mineral Supplements http://www.sportron.com/marketing/BabyMammalStudy.PDF Comparison of the absorption of different forms of Magnesium http://www.sportron.com/studies/fsmgst1.pdf Comparative Bioavailability to humans of Ascorbic acid alone or in a Citrus extract http://www.sportron.com/studies/vitcst5.pdf There's also another ongoing trial with a different and more modern whole-food technology but the results won't be available until next year. Obviously, with the pharmaceutical and chemical companies funding the majority of scientific research, it's not in their economic interest to look at this particular issue frequently or impartially. If pharmaceutical-grade and pharmaceutical-potency is vastly superior for standardized herbal extracts (which is a whole- food by default), you could extrapolate similar efficacy out to whole- food vitamins and minerals. If you're not already aware, chemical synthetics bend polarized light in only one direction (the right) -- thus you're wasting 50% of your money -- whereas naturals bend it in both directions. I believe Louis Pasteur first identified this phenomenom. The most well-known examples in terms of superior efficacy is natural Vitamin E and Alpha Lipoic Acid. It's important to note that increased absorption does NOT guarantee increased bioavailability and utilization by the body. The current technological level of artificial chelates or providing isolated co- factors is very primitive compared to Mother Nature's bounded, interlocking matrix of protein carriers, enzymes, co-factors, et al.. I have never read of clinical recoveries of patients with " incurable " diseases ever coming back from their deathbeds on anything but whole- food vitamins and mineral nutrition. If we could all regain or maintain optimal health on " vitamins " manufactured from petroleum and coal tar and inorganic minerals from seafloor dirt, that would be a truly amazing feat indeed! AFAIK, there's only three technologies currently providing whole-food vitamin and minerals: FoodState, PhytAvail and Homeostatic Nutrient Complexes. Guest guest
I have no affiliation with FoodState, Sportron or MegaFood which are all the companies I'm aware of using the FoodState technology. For more research, see " Clinical Studies " at http://www.foodstate.co.za/ or " Technical " at http://www.megafood.com/ Logan > From what I can see these are all studies on the " Sportron.com' website, a > site which seems to sell these products. > > Do you have any affiliation with Sportron?
