Guest guest
This is not an herbal remedy but it does work for bacterial infections such as strep throat. Put a dropper full of hydrogen peroide in one ear and let stay for 10 minutes...you can enjoy the snap, crackle and pop as this is working. Repeat in other ear. Try to do this once or twice before bedtime and then once in the morning. It stops the infection in its tracks. It really works and has kept me from getting some of the nasty things that go around. I take older ladies to their doctors appointments and those are the worst places to be..full of very ugly viruses and bacteria that float through the air. I start this at the very first sign of anything as a preventative measure. Anne VA USA
Guest guest
Regarding probiotics, Kyodophilus is one that Dr. Goldberg likes. It¹s a chewable tab that tastes a little like vanilla... chalk. Sounds bad but actually is OK! My kids like it. Caroline

Guest guest
Pattie, We¹ve always used a brand called ³Kids Kyo-Dophilus² and now that you mention it, I¹m not sure that Dr. G has ever asked us what brand we use... I guess what we¹re using is OK... maybe I¹d better ask him next phone consult. It can be a bit expensive (like $20 a bottle) but I think you may be able to find it for less on the web... we¹ve always bought at the local health food store.
