Hi Peg:

I hadn't realized these berries contained significant amounts of

oxalates. But the only problem I was aware of with oxalates (in the

quantities normally consumed) was that they hinder the absorption of

calcium. So perhaps you need to supplement calcium at a time of the

week you are not eating berries?
