The setting in the back is a bit of a mystery to me. I can't say with any certainty that I've noticed any difference using that setting (which is also available on the Quantum Companion). According to the literature, lower numbers (1,2,3...) are for when you want to sleep, relax, etc., while higher numbers/letters (9,A,B,C...) are for when you want to be busy/productive/efficient. And zero is supposed to be a special setting with both properties. I know that Diane/Evie can't stand hers being on anything higher than 5, and I know that I keep mine around 5 as well, for no particular reason. :-) Also, the knob in the front is to decrease/increase the strength, which I think also decreases/increases the radius of effectiveness. Let us know what you observe, good, bad, or indifferent. Marc
Guest guest
Ok thanks Marc! I will turn it to 5 & check it out. Guest guest
Hi, Loni,  I completely severed a major artery (Median artery), the Median nerve, a nerve bundle, and 3 tendons on a ceramic mug I dropped while washing dishes! I felt the mug slip out of my hand as I was rinsing it and knew it had broken from hitting the porcelain cast iron divider between the double sinks, but I was so foggy I didn't realize anything else had happened till I saw the red water and brought my hand out of the water to reach for a towel. I was still so clueless I was trying to figure out where all the gushing " red stuff " was coming from! lol Oh, yeah, its from me! DUH.  So don't allow yourself to get to this point, Loni!  Good luck, Diane From: Marc <marc@...> Subject: Re: Quantum Pro Date: Thursday, June 10, 2010, 2:03 PM  > I got the quantum pro. Guest guest
Oh no Diane! Well I do suffer from severe brain fog a lot of the time but I'll be careful. I have a dish washer so I think I'm good there! Loni From: Marc <marc@...> Subject: Re: Quantum Pro Date: Thursday, June 10, 2010, 2:03 PM  > I got the quantum pro. Guest guest
You've had that Quantum Pro for awhile, so I'd say that if you can't see much difference, you might as well return it. When I first tried that product line (quantum companion and power strips), I could see a dramatic difference almost immediately (like, within minutes). As for what changed, the environment just became much more " bearable " , as if the source of the EMF had been removed. There was also some initial detox symptoms (fatigue, headache, etc.) that occurred on day#2 and later, but that eventually went away. Guest guest
Hi Marc,  Yes well my 60 day trial is about up. I guess there might be a subtle difference. I have it next to my computer screen because that is the most emf discomfort I am dealing with. Unfortuneately that is the case because we all need & love to be on the computer.  So I'm plugging in & unplugging to try and see if it's worth keeping. It is a lot of money so I am weighing the benefit against the investment.  I returned the stetzers.  Loni  From: Marc <marc@...> Subject: Re: Quantum Pro Date: Friday, July 30, 2010, 9:40 AM  You've had that Quantum Pro for awhile, so I'd say that if you can't see much difference, you might as well return it. Guest guest
Would adding the power strips make it work better? Loni From: Marc <marc@...> Subject: Re: Quantum Pro Date: Friday, July 30, 2010, 9:40 AM  You've had that Quantum Pro for awhile, so I'd say that if you can't see much difference, you might as well return it. Guest guest
> Would adding the power strips make it work better? Loni Well, you said that your most problematic area is around your computer. Around *my* computer, I am using a Quantum power strip (computer & monitor plugged into it), *plus* I am using the Quantum Byte software running on the computer, *plus* I have a Quantum Pro. And at work (which is even nastier due to all the florescent lights and everyone brings their cellphones to work), I also have Quantum Companions (2 of them!) in my pants pocket. So yes, it is expensive, but it works for me. I am just concerned that you notice *nothing* from the Quantum Pro, which is one of the most powerful things they sell. Guest guest
Ok I'll talk to Margi about them. Thanks a lot for your help Marc! Loni From: Marc <marc@...> Subject: Re: Quantum Pro Date: Friday, July 30, 2010, 11:30 AM  > I was just wondering if using the power strips would help? They might -- they do seem to do something that the Quantum Pro does not. In fact, my initial good " first impression " of these products included 2 power strips in the house (by the computer & TV), and NO quantum pro. Guest guest
Does anyone know if you can right off the quantum Pro any way on taxes or any of these emf protectors? Loni
