Oh !!!

Me too Amy!! Me too!!

I was going to post for info. about this soon....thankyou for bringing this

up.

My dh (36yrs old) has had a cholesterol test, he and his sister are being

checked out (his brother died 3 years ago of a burst aeorta and his dad died

a month ago from a massive heart attack, post mortem said he had signs of

advanced heart disease too) and he has to see a dietician (test said his

level was at 7.4, whatever that means) then a chat with the doctor about

possible medication or something?! I said woah! medication? Let me see what

my friends on the net say! :-)

So, I will be interested in any info/website addresses/personal stories etc.

too.

Has anyone else seen the news the last couple of days talking about cholestorol? Saying that the levels need to be lower than previousely believed. While watching it, I turned to my wife and said that the pharm companies will be banking in this. Lo and behold, it went on to say that it is suggested that more and more americans get on statins for life to meet these new guidelines.

Guess we know who is making the money and decisions these days.
