Guest guest
Becky, Thanks for asking...today it is MUCH better...took a few days of good comfrey/arnica compresses, but today I finally am able to walk on it without limping. I also made the arnica/petroleum jelly thing...which has been wonderful to put on it when I am out and about...although it looks kind of gross...lol...but I guess it doesn't look any worse then the scrapes that run all down the side of my leg and across my ankle...lol. I am hoping to start back into Tae Kwon Do tomorrow...and hopefully try jogging on Thursday again. I would jog tomorrow but we have some thing to go to and I won't have my morning time like I usually do, so my leg gets an extra day of rest and I will start jogging again on Thursday. If it hurts...I'll not do my full amount of time, no biggie. Thanks again for asking...you guys were fantastic in helping me in my time of desperation! One other thing...I HIGHLY recommend keeping a bottle of Bach's Rescue Remedy on hand for these kinds of things...I really started off in a panic but when my son got me the rescue remedy and I took a few drops on my tongue...that is what calmed me down enough to stop and think rationally...because before that all I could do is cry! lol Caroline ----- Original Message ----- From: doodlebugboodles health Sent: Tuesday, July 13, 2004 6:39 PM Subject: Caroline How is you ankle/leg doing?Becky
Guest guest
Rica, He is 11. They don't have to set it...it is just a fracture in each of the bones...thank goodness. I am sure it will heal fine...I just want it to heal better and faster with a minimum of pain for him. I know...I'm just being a mom. LOL Caroline How old is your son? when I was 5 I fell frm a tree and broke my right arm--in the middle...it was set by a doctor while I breathed ether fumes...and has never hurt frm arthritis. My other breaks were later in life and they will hurt a little before it rains. [my own rain forcaster]they put a thin piece of titanium on my left arm as ,it was broken next to the wrist ...so the wrist would not become stiff. Rica No virus found in this outgoing message. The BF & C has several anti-inflammatories in it so taking it internally as well as using it as a poultice should help with pain. As long as he is careful with it and doesn't go banging it around he'll be alright. -- Peace, love and light, Don " Quai " Eitner " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. LOL Yes, the BF & C internally with lots of juicing for the minerals, etc. Yes, drinking it as a tea will be alright too. You can also cap some up and have him take two caps three times a day if he would prefer it that way. Either way will work. -- Peace, love and light, Don " Quai " Eitner " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
