I've tried an oral version of the same active ingredient (Calcium Disodium EDTA), but it made me feel " weird " , and I wasn't convinced it was a *good* weird. Definitely not euphoric... :-) Marc

Guest guest
Hi, Regarding doing any detox, be it the EDTA or ect. These agents will PULL out more then heavy metals, they also pull out vital minerals, such as: Magnesium, Iodine, Selenium, etc. This is why many who have done the " foot baths " ended up feeling worse. Because the body had to be LOW in minerals to start with...in order to accumulate heavy metals. A body that has sufficient levels of: Iodine, Magnesium, Calcium, Selenium, Potassium, etc, wouldn't have any ROOM for heavy metals to take up residence. This is why I caution people on doing detox this way. It is much safer to give the body the tools, as in vital minerals it is missing, or doesn't have enough of...then to detox. When you feed the body the nutrients/minerals it needs, it will naturally detox. Yes, this is a slower way to go. But it is also a safer way to do it. LIzzie From: cheryl_griffing@... Guest guest
To everyone who's interested in chelation: I believe I got my last batch of Kelatox from Vitalfoodstore, but it doesn't much matter where you get it from: http://www.vitalfoodstore.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=kelatox & Search.x=0 & Search\ ..y=0 As others have pointed out, though, chelation does pull out the good with the bad. Be sure to also take a good-quality multivitamin in the morning to replenish your lost minerals (suppository use happens before you go to bed at night). Solaray is a good brand, and it's cheap. Don't take the multi later in the day, or the EDTA will just bind to the components of your multi. Start off with one 900 mg suppository every other night, or even every 3rd night; if things seem to be going well for your body, kick it up to every night. Here's the thing about chelation, though, that I discovered when trying to find a link to the home heavy metals test kit that Kelatox and Detoxamin used to sell: the FDA is attacking companies that make chelation products, and they've had to stop selling many of their products. I wasn't able to find their test kits anywhere. Check out: http://www.kelatox.com/Kelatox_ and http://www.fda.gov/ICECI/EnforcementActions/WarningLetters/2010/ucm229230.htm You can still, for the moment, order kelatox from some online retailers who have a back stock of it, but if you're interested in doing it, I'd say now's the time; the Facist Drug Aministration seems determined to do away with anything that might help people deal with environmentally-induced illness ( " sorry, you can't chelate, but here, have a Prozac... " ) I did find some other test kits at: http://heavymetalstest.com/ It's a good idea to have some sort of metals testing done before you start a chelation regimen. Ideally, you'd find a good naturopath who knows about this sort of stuff, but I realize that in many places that's not possible. > > Do you have a link? > > http://www.axonhealthonline.com/inc/sdetail/2233 > http://www.drvitaminsolutions.com/index.php?l=product_list & c=65 > http://www.chelationhealthproducts.com/cart/kelatox-pediatric-450-10count.html > > As with all chelation products, I recommend being careful -- > you could have a terrible reaction to this (or any) chelation > product. Guest guest
When I first started chelating about 10 years ago the first thing I tried was EDTA. I thought the prices were outrages so I managed to find a manufacturer who sold me a great big barrel of calcium EDTA for a bit more than a 100 bucks. I put it into my own 00 capsules. I did it for about a year. But since then I've read that it has some bad effects on the brain tissues. Can't remember specifically what it did though > > Do you have a link? > > http://www.axonhealthonline.com/inc/sdetail/2233 > http://www.drvitaminsolutions.com/index.php?l=product_list & c=65 > http://www.chelationhealthproducts.com/cart/kelatox-pediatric-450-10count.html > > As with all chelation products, I recommend being careful -- > you could have a terrible reaction to this (or any) chelation > product.
