Guest guest
Quercetin is very difficult to absorb. It needs Bromelin(pinapple enzyme) to be absorbed. www.vitaminexpress.com has a combination pill of Quercetin/Bromelin/Stinging nettle for 90 pills for $14. I believe they have another one with out the nettle and just other vitamins and minerals. With my experience I have to say it works for me. I lost my smell and taste just a month after surgery. I started taking an OTC nasal decongestant, that helped for a while. Then I added the herbs and I've had my smell and taste back for over a year. > See the document at http://personal.ecu.edu/wuenschk/alternative.htm > <http://personal.ecu.edu/wuenschk/alternative.htm> > > -----Original Message----- > From: avifisher [mailto:avifisher@a...] > > > where does one acquire quercetin and has anyone else tried it and > gotten any positive responses? > > /Avi
Guest guest
Bromelain is an enzyme that 'digests' proteins -- it is used as meat tenderizer. I too have seen claims (by sellers of the product) that it has anti-inflammatory properties and promotes the absorption of quercetin, but wonder about what mechanism is involved in this putative effect. Some have advocated its use as a "mucus thinner," when administered by putting the substance between cheek and gum where it is said to be absorbed into circulation and carried to the sinuses and nose. I have tried papain for this purpose with little effect. Guest guest
Quercetin is a tumeric based liver detoxer I think.. The very best time on the organ clock would be between 1 and 3 am..... however if this is not possible it can be given at the exact opposite time on the organ clock.. I posted something on organ clocks to the group last week.. What I have not worked out is if the opposite time is 1-3pm or 7-9am.... thinking would be 1-3pm.. however I need to examine teachings on organ clock in greater detail. Guest guest
I don't think it's turmeric based.... I don't think it's for liver detoxing either. I think it's anti-inflammatory, good for the gut and allergies, also anti-oxidant at least as far as I understood it. The process in noninvasive and takes about 8 treatments. The cost is cheap at $300. I believe one can take two sessions a week. There are clinics at various locations throughout the country. In California there is a clinic is located in West Los Angeles run by a chiropracter, Dr. Carl Rothschild. Jeff > > > > > > Pollen count is up & I can't hardly tolerate it.
