Smart Meter Protester Arrested Today

Today in San Francisco, Amy O'Hair was arrested for sitting on the smart meter

installer's truck to prevent them from installing a meter in her home. My

friend knows her. My friend told me that earlier today Amy came running to my

friend's house to tell her to close her garage door (which she'd inadvertently

left open) so the installers couldn't get in to install a smart meter. My

friend vehemently opposes smart meters and was saved by Amy's quick action from

getting one against her will.

According to my friend, Amy is very upset by the experience of being arrested,

especially since she has a young daughter.
