Dee~

I just started taking Prozac, 10mg,

in the AM with my Levothroid. I get these weird

feelings in my arms (Can't explain, not even to the docs!)

One doc even said that I am not depressed, I am

STRESSED!!!!! Well, stress makes me cry and be depressed. I

have to deal with the stress. I go see a Psychologist

next Friday. I want off of all Benzo's and any anti

depressants. Over 9 years ago, I was on everything, including

Prozac, liquid form. Nothing helped me! I stopped taking

everything (I got pregnant and my ex asked me for a divorce

when I was around 5 months pregnant with our only son!

He is remarried, thank God, I think

:-)

Anyway, how many milligrams of Prozac do you take, and

what meds do you take for the HYPO? Sorry if I am

asking too many questions, but my doc doesn't talk much!

I could be one! LOL!Maybe I shouldn't take both the

same time, since they both work with the TSH levels,

so I have heard! And also the Serontonin in the

brain. Maybe that is why I get those weird feelings! But

I can't sleep, because I just can't (ANXIETY) and

doesn't Prozac keep you awake? How long does it stay in

your system? I am thinking seriously about stopping

after I talk to the doctors. I think I am on too

much!

Hope to hear from you Dee and anyone else who can

help!

Thanks,
Hope

take the TIME? My dr has a rep of taking to long w/ a

patient, but thats alright w/ me !I take synthoid for the

Hey a,

That's ok. First, I thought it was me. Seeing 6 of

one thing! But I looked around and realized I haven't

had anything to drink since before was conceived

!:-) Then I thought it was my computer or or

both.

As for , yeah, I know, boys will be boys. And he

can get dirty. But he has gone through 6 pairs of

pants at school this year alone. I won't tell you how

many shirts have been ruined. All come home ripped

and no one can tell me how. Teacher says it was in

OT, OT says no, he came here that way. I always send

another set of clean clothes in his backpack, and they

send him home with 6 safety pins instead! HELLO! How

dangerous is that? Anyway, I digress. I am sure they

can find a way for the class to have fun besides

walking in a muddy creek bed at school fishing out

salomanders. Or forewarn so I can send his " I don't

care what happens to these shoes and pants and shirt "

clothes and they can march through a swamp for all I

care! Grrrrrrr. OK. One of the reasons I am so mad

is clothes aren't cheap. I pay close to 25.00 for a

pair of pants. Do you know how hard it is to find

pants with an elastic waist to fit a 170 lb boy? Most

stores in this small town don't carry them in the

winter. Seems men only want to wear them in the

summer. What's up with that? Anyway, if anyone knows

i know excatly what you mean, nathan is VERY hard on clothes too, and he has

ripped many of his elastic waist pants to where they cant be mended, and

strectches out the collor, and chews holes in his shirts, he obsesses with

his clothing horrible, only short sleeved tshirts no buttons, zippers or

long sleeves, or collors, he cant leave alone or his aids either, and his

shoes, dont get me stated on them, uuuhhhhggg, i did do lots of research and

found a great place that makes elastic waist pants for any size either in

pant or denim, but they do cost around $35 a peice but they are made exactly

to your sons measurements. We cant afford that right now, and do to the lack

of down to only a few pair of elastic waist pants i started putting regular

blue jeans, and found he could undo them but not quite button them by self,

wo we tried a button looper and he does great with it, but he rather wear

elastic pants, the jeans usually come off as soon as home, lol, so he only

wears them on tues and thurs, as part of his OT goals to do regualr blue

jeans, button kind not those snap ones, and they are only around $10-12

right now. Oh man, i dont have her company's email on my desktop, and my

laptop, i usually use most of the time harddrive took a crash yesterday,

errrr, i will look, i have some printoffs of her company somewhere and

another too, she is very nice and really good, most of the companies you

look for only make clothes for those in Wheel chairs. i will get back later

with this info. shawna

ok, i found it, i did months and months of searching and finally found this

one last year, and another that does kids, i prefer this one called,

Specially For You, LLC, its very personnal and they make most any size even

young toddler sizes, with elastic waist and /or not elastic ankles you can

decide, and they have many prints to choose from and denim prints too, for

boys and girls, they make the pants specific to your childs measeurements.

You can try the name above or email directly to lucille ( she is head person

or owner i believe at lmbirk@... she will email you back, they

were undergoing some changes over the holidays soo this might have changed,

will look and see. The other company is something like Sewing with Heart or

similair to that, i havent ever talked to them directly though.shawna.

Hi Laurie,

Thanks for the hint, I have used them. I have several

pair in 's closet that he has " outgrown. " He

does not fit into the childrens sizes anymore, even

husky. And the adult ones are light weight. He rips

through them in no time at all. One problem with the

men's pant is that I have to cut so much off the

bottom, that the knees are at the ankle. With a 40 "

waist it makes them baggy. But, baggy is in right?

The biggest problem is my husband insists he wear them

around his middle. I must admit it looks better. A

belt and suspenders are out of the question. He chews

them or uses them as weapons. When the pants fall

down to his waist, and he gets a dunlop, the crotch

goes closer to the knees, and SPLIT! Then he does a

number on them and they are irrepairable. The other

damage comes from wear and tear. He goes through a

pair about every three weeks. So, at 28.00 a pair, I

try to find something a little less expensive. I

think I am chasing a pipe dream.

OK Gail,

A dunlop is....When his belly dun lopped (protrude,

hang over) over his pants. :-) Sorry. A bit of humor.

Moving on, yes, I also have to remove all tags and

strings. Some elastic pants have drawstrings which

need to be removed. I pull them out and thread more

elastic through, then sew it off on each end. Then of

course, they have to be hemmed. For shirts with

plackets and buttons, I have had to remove the buttons

so they are not given to me in pieces, and sew the

placket almost all the way shut, leaving just enough

room to go over the head. Although he is getting

better about the buttons now. I don't mind telling

you I buy as many shirts as I can at a second hand

store. :-) I don't feel so bad when they get ruined

when I only pay $4. But I have yet to find

elasticized pants there.:-)

I'm laughing so hard Deb! Ted has this too! I think

he prefers to go the dunlopped way! LOL I know

what you mean about sewing up the plackets! I've

sewn up " fake " front zipper plackets also...he would

not tolerate that either and then it becomes a problem

at school. Isn't that funny...I felt so alone in this area...

I thought most of the kids with Down syndrome were

on the small side. I'm going to splurge and look at the

Lands End catalog for a pair or 2 of nice pants as Ted

is going to middle school next year. When he went to

Kindergarten from the preschool...I made a decision

to never put Ted in sweats. He just would look so

sloppy in them so I have managed with tapered knit

pants and some cotton mens loungeware that are of a

nature that no one can tell they are what they are! LOL

Thanks for the laugh about the dunlop! I will remember

that!

What a big oops I made. (hehe)

I said the price of gas was $177.9/gal. What I meant was

$1.779/gal. Big difference!!

Re: RE: Hitting the road

Yes. I will be delivering whatever is ordered.

I placed the info in the lower left section of the web site home page.

If anyone gets time, take a look and see if I made it easy to

understand. Sometimes the way I word things make folks confused. The way

it works is a flat $10.00 delivey charge, no matter what the weight. 3

orders and I break even on tolls and gas. Over that I start making

headway into the time consumed. If I only end up with one order on the

given route day, I may still deliver or ship by normal means depending

on the total of items. Like if there is only 1 order of 1lb of citric

acid in Buffalo, I'll send it out the least expensive way and credit

back the difference. If the shippping is more that the flat $10.00, I

absorb the difference.

Cool! Let us know when you will be comming thru Rochester! Will you be

willing to carry lye with you?

Thanks!

Shaye
