Guest guest
rofl yes now THAT is a HUGE difference! LOL Re: RE: Hitting the road Yes. I will be delivering whatever is ordered. I placed the info in the lower left section of the web site home page. If anyone gets time, take a look and see if I made it easy to understand. Sometimes the way I word things make folks confused. The way it works is a flat $10.00 delivey charge, no matter what the weight. 3 orders and I break even on tolls and gas. Over that I start making headway into the time consumed. If I only end up with one order on the given route day, I may still deliver or ship by normal means depending on the total of items. Like if there is only 1 order of 1lb of citric acid in Buffalo, I'll send it out the least expensive way and credit back the difference. If the shippping is more that the flat $10.00, I absorb the difference. Cool! Let us know when you will be comming thru Rochester! Will you be willing to carry lye with you? Thanks! Guest guest
Well, now I'm upset that my name's flying around in a thread where someone feels attacked. I'm soooo sorry. I forget how easy it is to be misunderstood via email, things get out of hand when you least expect it. I think you're doing the right thing for what you want to accomplish and your expectations sound very reasonable. I'm not a vegan, so I don't have any real concerns regarding the use of animal products, but I go for vegetable-derived or unrefined or organic or free range as often as possible. I'm not an expert on natural methods of preservation, if we're discussing antioxidants or antiseptics or whatever. Obviously, decay is the only truly natural option, everything else is just degrees of delaying that. I'm all for orange oil even if it doesn't kill anything. I don't know how some folks get away with what they do. I've noticed that what a lot of people consider good business is not the same as ethical business. I'm all for supporting ethical business practices. Guest guest
No worries Traci. It wasn't your message or reply that made me feel attacked! Now that that is over, LOL, I am wondering which synthetic preservative is the least harsh? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Guest guest
No worries Traci. It wasn't your message or reply that made me feel > attacked! I must assume that it was my reply that made you feel attacked and for that I apologize. That certainly was not my intention. If my message sounded harsh, I am sorry but as Traci stated it is hard to know when reading a message how the person writing it meant it to sound. I was only trying to give you some things to consider in making your choice of preservatives. I believe, unless someone really attacks you, that you will find most people on the list who respond to a message you write are trying to be helpful. I don't post a lot because I don't have a lot of time but my motive was to try to get you to do more research on the matter. I am posting these so that some of the people who need help can look for it on these sites. Guest guest
Argh! Apparently lost the first part of this message. And I wrote up this long rant and now it's gone. Well here is it anyway. I am a little disgruntled because I went out with one of my 'friends' the other night. She was asking me how far/long I ran since it was nice outside. I asked her the same, she said about 4 miles (didn't day if daily, but 4 miles at a time). I said that is great, you should do a 5K with me this summer! She said, " No, I don't need to run one of those to feel an accomplishment. I don't like them. " I said, " Oh, I really like them, they make me feel great. " She said, " Why? Why do you need a bunch of people running with you when you know you can run it? It's a waste of time. You take up an hour just to drive over there and back. What's the point? " Now at this point, I was feeling attacked, totally. But like I said, I responded positively and moved on. I just couldn't believe someone would be so negative.I guess this is just one of those things that helps add fuel to my fire. Thanks for listening anyway! > Sorry, for some reason when I tab, it acts like enter and posts my > message. Anyway, sorry for the rant. I just felt like she was trying > to steal my thunder. Guest guest
It might be that your friend is afraid of doing the run for some reason, and brushes it off that way so she doesn't have to explain her fears. I say that because I think that's the kind of thing I'd say if someone wanted me to enter a competition of some sort, I hate competing! :-P in NZ C1W7D2 > > Sorry, for some reason when I tab, it acts like enter and posts my > > message. Guest guest
I suppose so. She said she'd done 5Ks in the past. Well, it isn't a competition either, it's just a race. I guess I just felt good about something and felt like she was trivializing it. > > > Sorry, for some reason when I tab, it acts like enter and posts > my > > > message. Anyway, sorry for the rant. Guest guest
Meant to include this with the article: Regarding Xanax, Laughren says there are inadequate data to guide physicians in how to use the drug beyond the acute treatment phase. " Because panic disorder is a chronic condition, " he says, " it may require continued treatment. The labeling suggests that the necessary duration of treatment for patients who respond is unknown, but it recommends that gradual dose reduction and withdrawal be attempted after 'a period of extended freedom from attacks'. " However, the labeling provides only rough guidance about how to withdraw patients from Xanax. " While the necessary research to establish optimal withdrawal strategies has not been done, " Laughren says, " clinical experience has led to more conservative recommendations in labeling for withdrawing patients. " At a September 1989 meeting of FDA's Psychopharmacological Drugs Advisory Panel, one participant likened the dilemma of Xanax to taking off in a plane without landing instructions. " He suggested that we know how to get patients up in the air, but it isn't clear how long to keep them there or how best to get them down, " says Laughren. " That is, we don't know how long it is necessary to maintain responding patients on the drug, and we don't know how best to withdraw them from treatment. " With all its uncertainties, treatment seems to be working for both Menter and Griffith. Both are in programs at the National Institute of Mental Health. Menter started treatment with imipramine, but is now in a " blind " study, so she doesn't know what drug or combination she's receiving. She still has about two panic attacks a month, but she's not as apprehensive about sleeping now. " Even though the episodes of panic are as frightening as always, " she says, " I know I'm not crazy and I'm trying to do something about it. I can deal with it. One of my biggest fears, I think, was giving in to this thing and maybe one day becoming a crazy person who couldn't take care of herself. " Griffith is taking Xanax and an antidepressant, and is being tapered off Xanax. She hasn't had an attack for several months and is back to traveling to business meetings and eating out at restaurants. Re: Someone help me decide plzzz! >> >> >> Of course it has...
