Guest guest
How safe and really beneficial are soy products? There are so many conflicting opinions about soy. I personally don't pay much attention to them. I've been a vegetarian for over 25 years and eat soy on a regular basis and don't have any problems. As far as beneficial, I've seen some real good things happen with miso. I had a friend who was throwing up everything she ate for a week. Nothing would stay down, not even water. I made her a pot of miso soup and told her to try it. When I called later that day she said she ate the entire pot of it, and it was the only thing that stayed down all week. It has medicinal properties and is the first thing I make when I get sick. Gloria
Guest guest
You have to be careful about the soy you get... as much is genetically altered... Organic miso would be your best bet. Guest guest
Miso is about the only soy we eat....Bragg's Liquid Aminos make me gag<G>. But we love miso, probably eat miso soup at least once a week. And it's easy....just keep a container of miso paste in the fridge and stick a tablespoon or so into any chicken or vegetable soup you make at the last minute. (Don't cook it, per se.) Adds just that little touch of flavor and good nutrients besides. Sharyn From: Anne Bird [mailto:irishfox@...] My question is: How safe and really beneficial are soy products?
