From my experience, in terms of stress, there may be physical stress on the throat if the client has thyroid issues.   With hyperthyroidism, a mass (i.e. a goiter) can develop that can press upon or stress the throat.  Best wishes,Shirley From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of zenaSent: Sunday, August 21, 2011 10:54 AM Subject: Stress with drinking liquids Would appreciate any input on the following:A female, 55 years old finds it difficult to swallow liquids. The feeling she describes is she feels fear of suffocation. In Iridology something interesting popped up and that was prenatal circulation. I worked on the fear/phobia, kidneys. Body scan and scalar were helpful. What else would you recommend for this kind of stress. Appreciate your input.Blessings to allHaya

Have you checked stress of the Thyroid and hypothyroid? One of the issues of thyroid tumors (and often they are not felt or diagnosed yet) is the feeling of not being able to swallow, and the pressure can also put pressure on the carotid artery causing a feeling of suffocation. Does she find if she stretches her neck or arches her back while stretching her neck she can get air in when otherwise it feels suffocating. Some issues to consider.

Yours in Health,

Kathy

You also get goitres with hypothyroidism. Change te clients diet, remove all grains, which interefere with thyroid function and cruciferous veg. to start with. Bye Sue

I suggest a great resource for all practitioners is the FEELINGS flip chart from www.healingfeelings.com. I live in Australia but imported a few of them (US$14) and could have sold lots to friends. Feelings and thoughts are the root cause of all illness and pain. When you understand this, it adds a powerful dimension to your healing business. When I look up THROAT it suggests the cause may be one or more of:Feelings of anger that have been restrainedStrong critical words have been spokenSwallowed emotional hurtsNot having your own wayFeelings of confusionLack of discernmentKnowledge used

unwiselyAsk your client whether any of these ring a bell, if so, turn it around into a positive affirmation and get them to say it many times per day. You can also put the positive affirmation into the SCIO possibly in the prayer wheel. For example, if it was the first issue, you could turn that around to say: "I release all anger with ease; I feel free to express myself; People listen to what I have to say". best wishes Lina http://www.indigohealthla.comhttp://www.quintopublishing.comhttp://farrarfamilyhistory.weebly.com/http://www.kandos-rylstone.weebly.comhttp://www.ormsby.weebly.comhttp://comer-danero-neich-family.weebly.comTo sin by silence when they should protest

If she isn't taking any kind of homeopathic remedies, try Arsenicum album 9CH, 10 drops twice a day, out of meals. You can test on the Homeopathic Activation to see if it's good for her.

Thanks a lot for responding Kathy, Shirley, Sue and Catia and for your useful

input. As a matter of fact this client had her thyroid removed and she is on

tyroxine. And yes I have worked a lot on the emotions in NLP.

thanks again
