Hello everyone,

Just wanted to pass along that the below " warning " is a something to NOT be

worried about. It was based on *some* truth; however, the actual person

responsible is now behind bars. He was in Florida and was arrested in June

of 2000. I checked this info out on snopes.com, and am including the addy

for everyone to check out (if they so desire). There are so many things out

there that sound absurd, yet they are true, so it's hard to tell anymore

what is true and what isn't.

The Dwarfism List is configured so that all file attachments are stripped

out before a message is posted. So even if the message that seemed to be

from Leesa contained virus, it would have been safe by the time it made it

to the list. You can NEVER get a virus by downloading messages from the

I did think to tell my dear hubby that he was going to be enduring the "worse" that he promised in his wedding vows. He said he would still be around.

A daughter came to stay while I was in the middle of my three surgeries. She was not ready for what her beloved Mom had turned into. She has decided that she does not like me very well now, and it is hard on all of us.

I feel perfectly normal once more, as someone was asking in a post. My hip is 16 months old. My knees are 11 months and 7 months old. I am managing my own kitchen again, directing my house cleaner, doing the laundry, teaching Bible Class and Sunday School, shopping, entertaining neighbors for board games, planning meals and executing them, and counseling in Christian Chatroom. I baby sit 8 kids when Mom needs help. I take teens for "retail therapy" when they need to go out alone. How is that for normal for a 73 year old? ALL OF THIS WITHOUT HURTING! THANK YOU, FATHER.

He's seen loads of new patients over this summer - many recommended

from this list. That's got to be a good thing. He's kept his list

open presumably because he knows he's one of the only DANs we have. I

have to wait until November for my phone consult and I booked it a

couple of weeks ago. FWIW I booked an appointment with Dr Usman in

March - and the date is a full year later! That's what you get when

only a handful of experts is treating an epidemic. I don't think it's

that that's outrageous and I'd hate to put him off taking on new

patients. When test results come through there are loads of outlets

for advice in addition to Dr Heard. Of course it's preferable to

discuss with Dr first but you can get a very good idea of what's going

on via this list, Chelatingkids2, autism treatment etc. He's also

pretty good about emailing responses to queries if you have specific

worries. I wonder if we can persuade his colleagues, who also

specialise in environmental toxicity, to broaden their remit to

include autism. That might help the back log.
