Candace,

What a ridiculous diagnosis by

your doctor when you were 18!!!! So

what did he want you to do – walk on your hands and knees and the

pain would go away????

It sounds to me like you are probably right when

you say you have a major cloggage. You should have a bowel movement at least a couple times a day – one meal in, one meal out. Most people with lower back pain is in

the area of

L-5, S-1 (fifth lumbar, first sacral). This is where the large intestine

presses up against the spine, and a clogged up large intestine will leak out

toxins and weaken this area of the spine.

So a healthy, clean, resilient colon is

important to better spinal health.

I think I missed the beginning part of this thread, because I’m

not sure what the IC is that you refer to, and I don’t know what other

people have recommended, so

please excuse me if I repeat what someone

else has already told you. It appears that you are not digesting

anything well, so plant-based enzymes would

help with that (at least a couple every time

you eat, plus before you go to bed), along

with mega-doses of acidophilus and bifidus (adding back in the good bacteria to your intestines).

I don't know

what's up with my left side quite honestly. When I was 18 it hurt so bad I

thought something was

horribly wrong with me and went to

the doctor who then explained to me that humans

weren't meant to walk upright

and when we evolved our backs didn't evolved with us and I had back strain.

~grooooan~ What a nut job.

I know it's not a muscle, dont' ask

me how, I can just tell. My mom said she read something about the lower left

side of your intestinal junk being where things get clogged and can start

to hurt. I thought hmmmmm maybe that's what it is!?!? A big cloggage? I'd been

going once every 2-3 weeks for 6 YEARS that would make sense!!!

at least 10 glasses a day. (8 oz or more size)

Yes, he gave me exercises to do in the doggy position. Said that's how we're meant to get around. I should have gotten on my hands and knees and crawled out of his office but instead I ran.

IC is "intestinal cleanse", when I take that I go at least 2 times a day. When I stop, even if I drink 10 glasses of water a day and eat nothing but veggies I clog back up again. Too many years of bad living has killed my colon. The IC#2 is supposed to break up old fecal matter and make it pass but it isn't. I'm still just going the same amount I was going when I didn't take IC#2, it's like it made no difference but that area of my back has been hurting so it may be making my cloggage worse. And boy do I have zits like crazy. I'm all toxic and gross and I need to figure out how to unclog my poop schute.

Hi Candace,

The IC #2 is more for removal of toxins from the body than for moving

fecal material out of the body (although it will help with that). If you

are having trouble moving your bowels then up your dosage of IC#1. I

might also suggest that you take in enough fiber (psyllium seed husk),

plenty of fresh veggies, lots of Vit. C (6 grams per day (2 grams in the

am, 2 grams at noon, 2 grams before bed), start drinking prune juice in

the AM (16 ounces and if you don't want to drink the dead stuff from the

store than make your own as it is extremely easy to do and full of

enzymes this way). You also need to quit cooking and just eat raw. Your

body needs plant enzymes badly. Pineapple and papayas have the best but

all raw foods have enzymes for digestion of those foods. Do make sure

you are drinking lots of water (pure distilled or highly purified) and I

mean lots.

Actually, Candace, I would suggest that you take enough IC#1 to get you

moving and then continue that amount three times per day 1/2 hour before

meals. If your stools become too loose than cut down a little until they

are more solid but you can evacuate easily. Just so you know this could

take anywhere from 6 months to a year before your bowels begin to work

properly again. After you manage to get rid of the old encrustations of

fecal material then you can slowly begin gradually decrease the amount

of capsules you take per day but do not go off of them totally. Stay

with it until you are certain that your bowels are cleared of the old

dried up fecal matter. You will know when this is. Do keep an eye on

your stools so that you can tell what is coming out of you. Do also

follow the above advice too.

Okay I think that is enough for now. Peace be with you Candace and your

family too.

I was wondering about that! I was thinking "maybe if I took IC#1 with each meal" but didn't know if that was okay to do. That would probably have me up all night on the toilet, too, though. If I take IC#1 at 10-11pm then I have until appx 8-9am. If I take it with supper I'll be up at 5am running to the toilet. Not sure if I want to take it earlier than that although it would be nice to get more junk out. Aaaah forget it, I'm gonna do it. A couple trips to the bathroom in the middle of the night won't kill me!

I have yet to try prune juice, I don't know where to get it around here. Have never seen organic prunes, either. I've been wanting to try that, though.

Hi Candace,

It might but then only until your body adjusts to it. Definitely take it

1/2 hour before each meal three times a day. Just keep doing it day in

and day out. Eventually all that dried up feces will dislodge and be

eliminated from your body. This way you will be better able to absorb

nutrients and get rid of toxins.

You should be able to find prunes most anywhere. If you can't get

organic don't let that stop you. Store bought prune juice is pasteurized

and therefore dead of any enzymes. But it is easy to make your own.

Prune juice is a little thick, can you make prune juice just by running it through a juicer or will that not work with prunes?

Hi Candace,

The best way I have found for making your own prune juice is to soak the

prunes in distilled water over night (about 2 pounds of them) the remove

the pits (if they have them) and place half of them in a blender with

half the water you soaked them in. Blend the tar out of 'em and pour

into a pan or bowl. Do the other half and combine the two. Now take and

strain out the pulp, rinsing with distilled water as you do so. Fill a

large 1 gallon bottle with the juice and add enough distilled water to

make one gallon. Shake really well and refrigerate. Awesome stuff. By

the way, you can crack the pits and remove the little nut inside. Soak

these nuts for 8 hours and then allow to dry. Good source of B-17 or

Laetrile.

Cherry pits, Peach pits, plum pits, apricot pits, nectarine pits all

contain Laetrile. As a matter of fact, even apples seeds and pear seeds

contain it, as I am sure, do others seeds of fruits.

Hi Syl,

I have no idea how to go about extracting it. I do know that all you

need to do is eat maybe 14 or so of these small seeds. The Hunzas

actually eat the pits of apricots after their meals. It is considered a

delicacy to them and they do not suffer cancer nor do they even know of

it. At least they didn't before modern civilization caught up with them.

I don't know about now. Any time you eat an apples or pear eat the seeds

too.
