Guest guest
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/devra-davis-phd/cell-phone-radiation-_b_828330.htm\ l Read this appropriate comment from Dr at the Center for Neuroacoustic Research : Most body processes are electromagnetic in nature. The brain is the most electromagnetic tissue of all with 100 billion electrical neurons and 100 trillion axon wire connections between them. Our biochemistry is all about the movement of po...sitively and negatively charged ions (all electromagnetic). Even our blood is electromagnetic....hemoglobin (which makes the blood red and carries oxygen to the cells) is composed of ferric iron atoms. Iron atoms have a strong affinity to the oxygen atom because both complete their outer electron shells in a stable configuration by joining together. But get iron wet in the presence of oxygen and what happens? -> rust. Rusting iron particles in the hemoglobin of blood is why blood is red. But I digress.... In physics its called electromagnetism because you can't have electricity flowing through a wire without a magnetic field being generated around the wire at right angles to the flow. On the other hand, if you place a wire in a magnetic field, it generates an electrical current in the wire....this is how a electrical generator works. The body is no different. Consider the fact that we have hundreds of miles of nerve " wires " running throughout our body with electrical impulses traveling through them. This generates a magnetic field around these wires: our " BioMagnetic Field " around our body that can be measured. Electrical fields influence magnetic fields and magnetic fields effect electrical fields. Does it make sense that placing an electrical field generator close to the brain might have an influence on the functioning of the electrical brain cells? This is what a cell phone is: an electrical generator which has a measurable magnetic field surrounding it. The magnetic field around the cell phone would generate electrical pulses within the " wiring " of the axon connections between brain cells. The electrical field of a cell phone would have a direct effect on the magnetic field surrounding the brain which arises from all the electrical signals traveling among 100 billion neurons. Dangerous? I think it is showing in the negative health effects over the past few decades. brain cancer is just one of the negative effect and attracts the most news attention because it is so life threatening. But what about all the other more subtle negative effects on brain function? What about the extremely powerful magnetic fields from MRI Imaging devices in hospitals? Do you think these powerful magnetic fields could be having any harmful effects on the brain or the body with repeated exposure? How about all those iron particles in the blood traveling through miles and miles of blood vessels generating an electromagnetic field through the blood's motion? Could Oxygen / CO2 exchange at the cells level be effected by MRI, never mind the electromagnetic sensitivity of the brain cells and all their connections..
