Connecting a few dots, obesity causes higher inflammation levels.

Inflammation supports tumor growth (a bad side effect of the primary repair

function).

I fear the ad lib population are literally eating themselves to death (if

not cancer, diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, etc). Even the most

moderate CR practice will extend lifespan compared to our adlib neighbors.
