If it makes you inclined to feel hungry, then perhaps it's not helpful (though not necessarily 'bad') -- what about consuming the grapes themselves? Guest guest
It doesn't make me hungry at all. Quite the opposite, acutally (though it may be psychological). The reason for not eating grapes is the fact that concord grapes are not easy to get in my little Middle-of-Nowhere-USA grocery store. Juice is easier. Plus I'm not sure I'd like crunching/eating the seeds to get the good stuff from the seeds. I'm just curious if it's not healthy to consume that much sugar alone without protien, fiber or something else with it? If it's fine, then great, I'd love to keep doing what I'm doing. I just don't want to do something conter-productive. Thanks! Guest guest
As mentioned, the entire grape would be better. But since you don't have that option, why not dilute the juice 1/2 and 1/2 with water for less sugar and calories? That's what I do with blueberry juice. My preferred juice is the 8 blend veggie kind such as V-8. Since the " whole food " generally is better to consume I only drink the juice on days when I've been too busy to make an actual raw salad or too rushed to eat one. on 8/30/2004 9:04 PM, Jody Mack at jdmac@... wrote: > Hi, > I'm wondering if juice for breakfast would not be a good idea? Guest guest
OTOH, if that's your only " vice " I'd say don't worry about it. on 8/30/2004 9:47 PM, Francesca Skelton at fskelton@... wrote: > As mentioned, the entire grape would be better.
