I've tried this a couple of times and it seems to work. A couple of capsules will put off my hunger for about 2 hours (and by then it's usually mealtime). I have no idea why this works but it does seem to do the trick. I've added this to our " Aids and Tips " file. >>> It's the calories in the fish oil. Out of curiosity, I weighed 20 Vitamin E gels, which are about 1/2 the size of the fish oil capsules. They weighed about 11 grams. So, if 10 fish oil capsules weigh 11 grams, 2 capsules weigh 2.2 grams. At 9 calories per gram this is about 20 calories plus a trace amount of protein from the gelatin coating. I've not tried fish oil capsules. Usually raw broccoli and red peppers work best for me. >>> According to BT120YD (p.338) One cup of red pepper strips, or one large sweet pepper (100 g) has 31 calories. One medium stalk of broccoli (180 g) has 32 calories. The number of calories is in the same ball park as the 2 fish capsules. Tony
