Guest guest
So well put, . Most of us aspire to be where you are emotionally, but few of us are. My physical recovery outpaced my emotional and spiritual, probably because the amount of loss that went with it (financial being only one aspect). I still have some fear associated with it that is always playing in the background and occasionally gets real loud. And sometimes, like tonight, depression creeps in. Nevertheless, I am doing more and more, taking more chances. Actually have found a few things that I am enjoying! It was almost a year after getting this mess that I actually laughed again. And I am someone for whom humor and laughter were a huge part of my life. Thanks for posting this, . It is important for me to be reminded to push forward. Bessie > > > > Thank you, Lynn. Also, the seabuckthorn berry oil is working its magic and my lesions are nearly gone. If I keep taking 2/3 dropperful 2x daily for a couple of weeks, they won't come back unless I shed fresh critters on my arms from my head. I have to contain my scalp rascals. They are the worst when they fall out on the top of my feet and on my arms. > > > > Love ya. > > katie > > > > PS I take 1 tsp baking SODA in a glass of water 2x daily also, and I mix 3 TBSP in a cup of warm water and, after I shower using blue Dawn as shower gel, and rinse, I drizzle the baking soda mixture over me with this bottle. Guest guest
Thanks for sharing Bessie and . I think alot of us have gone through depression due to the burden this infestation brings. I know that I need to develop more of a sense of humour to battle the mental challenge of this and other things in life. One thing that has helped is that I was able to get out and dance like crazy a few times I also am exercising more and feel more fit. Guest guest
Jay, that is wonderful. ly, most nights, if I feel movement, I think to myself, " Yoooo're TOAST, you little sucker, HA! " Then I consign the unfortunate character to my lint roller and then I roll over and go back to sleep. On my disposable sheets. On my bed that sounds like the one in the Princess and the Pea. Guest guest
Seabuckthorn Berry Oil is $13-$15 + postage for one 50 gm (1.76 oz) dropper bottle (plus shipping). It's very reasonable and a bottle goes a good way. Probably takes two bottles to get rid of the meanest lesions. Have to continue for a month or so. I use it externally and take it internally at first. Then, once they start reducing in size and fading, I stop using it on my skin and continue only with the internal treatment. Doesn't matter if you take it with food or not. That said, now that I know it will get rid of new surface lesions for good, I'm going on it permanently. Maybe it will help the very deep dwellers since it works from the inside. Did find a wonderful Seabuckthorn lotion made by Aubrey that is beautiful, fragrant, and extremely soothing (will, like the oil, stain, though, so let it soak in well and be careful wearing with light clothing). I am on my third bottle, but it lasts a long time. Love, > >> > Thank you, Lynn. Also, the seabuckthorn berry oil is working its magic and my lesions are nearly gone. Guest guest
I do two main things to avoid " fallout lesions " : I wear long sleeves and avoid open top shoes ALWAYS. Even in summer. Also, to prevent bites through soft shirt fabrics, I spray my shirts (and socks and top of thighs and ankles....lol...) with my water-based mixture, that is, my same two active ingredients that have protected me from bites for a decade: Legacy Herbs Insect Repellent (one dropperful) + 6 oz Agrilabs Foot and Hoof Rot (benzalchonium chloride) Spray ($6/qt at jefferspet.com) in a quart spray bottle, fill to line with water. A decade, seriously. One reason I get so FEW lesions. Great for short term for those who are still battling, trying to hold the line on what progress you've made, but aren't quite there yet. Guest guest
It has a very slight scent but at least in my opinion it does not stink. I order perfume oils CHEAP off ebay and add to spray. Aqua di Gio is my favorite, though if you like sweeter scents, Opium is nice too. On Thu Jan 14th, 2010 1:28 AM EST Lynn wrote: >I would love to look into the stuff you are using for spot spraying. Guest guest
My impression is that if it is over 99.5 percent pure they are allowed to call it 100 percent pure. Which is insane. I've not seen any credible discussion of contaminants, though there's no real reason at this point to suspect a problem. The link you sent did not work for me. Guest guest
Hi Loni, Short explanation: Baking Soda helps to alkalize the body. It is one of the cheapest and safest ways to help alkalize the body. We're talking PH stuff here....disease/un health can only thrive in an acidic body. A body that is alkalized, basically -means there is more oxygen ... Wireless radiation makes the body acidic. If everyone did this simple test, who thinks wireless radiation is so safe...they'd SEE how quickly cell phones lower the body's PH. Especially those who already use the PH testing strips and trying to get their PH levels UP. I tell my cell phone toting friends, especially those who use the PH testing strips all the time.... " Do this experiment: Take your PH before and after you use a cell phone. " The silence is deafening. I carry a bottle of Baking Soda water with me, in my snack bag..whenever I have to run errands. In between stops, I drink this and do sprays of Peppermint Water in my mouth. Doing this helps keep my body alkalized and the Peppermnt water prevents the nausea I used to get, just standing in front of hte registers. then when I get home, I rinse my head (to discharge) and soak my feet in Magnesium Chloride Oil with Baking Soda. Guest guest
What do you mean " if you mess with it? " because if someone's PH is acidic, not raising that PH spells disaster for health. **See link below. Disease/ill health can only thrive in an acidic PH. Cancer cells/tumors are always found to be acidic. Inflammation equals acidic PH. Yes, I agree, it can be tricky. It does take time, attention and dedication. In the beginning, I thought, oh geez, another thing to have to pay attention to. So I pretty much blew it off. Then later on, after trying a bunch of products that' were supposed to help raise the PH....expensive, didn't work...I threw my hands up. A little later, I kept running into articles on how important the PH was. Like some power/ force (whatever you want to call it) was putting this stuff in my face...hey, you, wake up. So I decided to take another look. That's when I found the info from Mark Sircus, and at the same time, found info that said wireless radiation makes the blood acidic. So I started trying the Baking Soda...small amts at a time. I don't remember how long it took before I stopped getting that yucky feeling of having a burp stuck..I do know I kept at it because I did notice a difference. My PH back then was pretty low....it took quite awhile to get it to move UP. I did find, that getting rid of all the wireless in my house, and reducing my exposure- while keeping up with the Baking Soda, made a huge difference in my PH. This was right when I connected the dots to the ES stuff. I read tons of stuff...and decided to simplify. I do the bAking Soda, and I put raw veggies (cukes, zucchini, peppers) on my plate with cooked foods....I take raw garlic, crush it, mix it with organic Olive Oil, and put it on my raw veggies ( raw garlic has a PH of: 13+). Beef is -34/ chicken is -18 to -22 on the acid scale. Fresh Cucumbers are: +31-- I took the food combining and made it as easy for me as I could. I just do the zucchini/cukes with the raw garlic....to offset the cooked foods. The point is: it doesn't have to be hard. I keep a bowl of crushed garlic with the olive oil in my fridge. Meals, 2 out of 3, always include something RAW. I don't count the acid/alkaline anymore...I just make sure I have zuccini/cukes/peppers with raw garlic. For me, I feel better eating this way. All I can say is, try it- or don't. But how will you know if it works or makes you feel better, if ya don't try it? And one meal isn't usually enough. Although I did feel a difference, and one meal was enough for me to say: Hey, maybe there is something to this stuff! Guest guest
In order to preserve the acidity in the stomach necessary for proper digestion I will take baking soda no closer than 1 hour before a meal and will always wait at least an hour and a half after a meal before taking it. My favorite time to take it is just before going to bed. I will add that for long term acid/alkaling balance it is best to use means other than baking soda. Guest guest
Marc, what do you take for your thyroid? I have ACV Capsules because I can't handle the liquid but I don't take it every day, only when my stomach acts up or feel clogged. They added iodine to salt because of iodine deficiency and since everyone uses salt it was an easy delivery system. I've never heard it was added because salt causes an iodine deficiency. Gotta disagree with that author on that one. Guest guest
Yes, baking soda does a good job increasing oxygen & energy.
