Hi :

Well if it is true that: " fructose consumption induces insulin

resistance ................... " , then isn't that another argument

suggesting one should be cautious about how much fruit one eats?

(Isn't 'fructose' supposed to be 'fruit sugar'?)

Subject: Fructose Concern [Was: Required Nutrient Intake Frequency]

It's always more complicated then you want it to be!

Quotation from the Am J Clin Nutr. 2002 Nov;76(5):911-22:

'Fructose consumption induces insulin resistance, impaired glucose

tolerance, hyperinsulinemia, hypertriacylglycerolemia, and

hypertension in animal models. "
