Hello Aricia,

Never use the SCIO with a client with a pacemaker! Some pacemakers are very sophisticated and can even deliberate when needed.

The pacemaker detects the subtle energies and rhythms of the heart regulating it. The SCIO could do disastrous things in detecting the energy from the pacemaker and then sending energy back ... that simply put ... could cause the pacemaker to send crazy and very inappropriate signals to the heart.

Do not combine the two. You are the professional telling the client/patient what they need.

Cheers,

Pacemaker and SCIO

Hi Sue,Could you clarify what the reason is to not use the SCIO on a pacemaker client? What if a client insists to have SCIO?Thank you for your reply.Aricia

I had the experience of a SCIO session improving the “health” of an elderly client that his cardiologist had to readjust the settings of the pacemaker, and or his medication. The SCIO “normalised” the heartbeat. The problem was that the client was feeling “stressed” by this change in rhythm. I do not know whether SCIO influenced the heart beat or all the allopathic medication the elderly patient was taking. This was 7 years ago. Maybe now the SCIO is more refined.Doing a session in virtual with a client in the harness is a better option.Annelise From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of AriciaSent: 04 October 2011 07:01 PM Subject: Pacemaker and SCIO Hi Sue,Could you clarify what the reason is to not use the SCIO on a pacemaker client? There is a small amount of biological voltage coming from your device. There is a small chance the this voltage could interfere with the pacemaker. You might consider setting the limb straps near the client and not attached. www.QuantumBiofeedback.info--- On Tue, 10/4/11, Aricia <ariciavdm@...> wrote:From: Aricia <ariciavdm@...>Subject: Pacemaker and SCIO Date: Tuesday, October 4, 2011, 5:00 PMHi Sue,Could you clarify what the reason is to not use the SCIO on a pacemaker client? Dear BHO Discussion Group

If at any time you are uncertain about the use of the device with another

product, you are responsible for checking the Warnings and Cautions in the

Instructions for Use for BOTH PRODUCTS.

It is your responsibility to research any potential conflicts and use your

training, knowledge and experience to determine if your client's other products

are compatible.

Additionally, you should always have immediate access to licensed healthcare

professionals if you are one yourself in the case of any conflicts with your

clients' other products.

Regards,

Lloyd

use subspace

if client needs connection then you can disable harness activity in calibration using virtual only section

the issue is that the frequency may decode the pacemaker
