Eat more acid-forming foods and omit alkaline-forming foods. Use the list below as a guide to which foods are acid-forming and which are alkaline-forming. Low-level acid-forming and low-level alkaline-forming foods are almost neutral.

Acid forming foods:Alcohol, Asparagus, Beans, Brussels sprouts, Catsup, Chickpeas, Cocoa, Coffee,Cornstarch, Cranberries, Eggs,Fish, Flour; flour based products,Legumes, Lentils,Meat, Milk, Mustard, Noodles, Oatmeal, Olives, Organmeats, Pasta, Pepper, Plums, Poultry, Prunes, Sauerkraut, Shellfish, Soft drinks, Sugar; all foods with sugar added, Tea and Vinegar. Aspirin, tobacco, and most drugs are also acid forming.

Low-Level Acid-Forming Foods:Butter, Canned or glazed fruit, Cheeses, Dried coconut, Dried or sulfured Fruit, Grains, Ice cream, Ice milk, Lamb's quarter's, Seeds & nuts.

Alkaline-Forming Foods:Avocados, Corn, Dates, Fresh coconut, Fresh fruits (most), Fresh vegetables (most), Honey, Maple syrup, Molasses, Raisins andSoy products .

All vegetables, especially raw vegetables, balance the acidity and alkali levels in the blood. Although it might seem that citrus fruit would have an acidifying effect on the body, the citric acid they contain actually has an alkalinizing effect in the system.

Low-Level Alkaline-Forming Foods:Almonds, Blackstrap molasses, Brazil nuts, Buckwheat, Chestnuts, Lima beans, Millet and Soured Dairy Products.

Eat a diet of 80 percent grains and including beans, whole grain breads, organic brown rice, crackers, lentils, macaroni, nuts(not peanuts), soy sauce, and whole-grain cereals. The other 20 percent of the diet should include fresh organic fruits and vegetables and fish, organic chicken, free range eggs and natural cheese.

Do not use antacids or mineral supplements, except those mentioned above, for 2 weeks.

Avoid sodium.

Cut back on megadoses of vitamins and minerals for 2 weeks.

Check your urine pH daily using litmus paper.

Alfalfa- 500 to 1,000 mg of the dried leaf per day or 1-2ml of tincture.Alfalfa for tea - 1 to 2 teaspoons per cup, steeped in boiling water for 10 to 20 minutes.Fluid extract, 30 - 60 ml / week.

Vitamin B-6 (pyridoxine) 50 mg 3 times pd

Vitamin C-3,000-6,000 mg, in divided doses.

Vitamin E - 400 IU pdVitamin D-3 400 IU pd.

Betaine hydrochloride (HCl) 1 capsule with every meal.

L-Cysteine 500 mg twice daily, on an empty stomach. Take with water or juice. Do not take with milk. Take with 50 mg vitamin B-6 and 100 mg vitamin C for better absorption.

L-Cysteine 500 mg pdMethylsulfonylmethane (MSM) 1000 mg 3x pd.Raw kidney glandular 500 mg daily. S-Adenosylmethionine 100 mg pdSelenium 200 mcg pd.

Alkalosis is excessive blood alkalinity caused by an overabundance of bicarbonate in the blood or a loss of acid from the blood (metabolic alkalosis), or by a low level of carbon dioxide in the blood that results from rapid or deep breathing (respiratory alkalosis).

Metabolic alkalosis develops when the body loses too much acid or gains too much base. For example, stomach acid is lost during periods of prolonged vomiting or when stomach acids are suctioned with a stomach tube (as is sometimes done in hospitals). In rare cases, metabolic alkalosis develops in a person who has ingested too much base from substances such as baking soda (bicarbonate of soda). In addition, metabolic alkalosis can develop when excessive loss of sodium or potassium affects the kidneys' ability to control the blood's acid-base balance. For instance, loss of potassium sufficient to cause metabolic alkalosis may result from the use of diuretics or corticosteroids.

Respiratory alkalosis develops when rapid, deep breathing (hyperventilation) causes too much carbon dioxide to be expelled from the bloodstream. The most common cause of hyperventilation, and thus respiratory alkalosis, is anxiety. Other causes of hyperventilation and consequent respiratory alkalosis include pain, cirrhosis, low levels of oxygen in the blood, fever, and aspirin

Alkalosis may cause irritability, muscle twitching, muscle cramps, or no symptoms at all. If the alkalosis is severe, prolonged contraction and spasms of muscles (tetany) can develop.

A sample of blood taken from an artery shows that the blood is alkaline.

Doctors usually treat metabolic alkalosis by replacing water and electrolytes (sodium and potassium) while treating the underlying cause. Occasionally, when metabolic alkalosis is very severe, dilute acid in the form of ammonium chloride is given intravenously.

With respiratory alkalosis, usually the only treatment needed is slowing down the rate of breathing. When respiratory alkalosis is caused by anxiety, a conscious effort to slow breathing may make the condition disappear. If pain is causing the person to breathe rapidly, relieving the pain usually suffices. Breathing into a paper (not a plastic) bag may help raise the carbon dioxide level in the blood as the person breathes carbon dioxide back in after breathing it out.

Alkalosis help

Greetings,

I am a fairly new EPFX user and have been blessed greatly with a local EPFX Practitioner that has taken time to teach me how this device works and mostly I can run a full protocol, such as anything in the Encyclopedia etc. I have a longstanding Alkalosis problem that has recently resurfaced. PP is always high and EP is low or normal 70-75 when I start my sessions (about once every 3 days).

Other than dietary changes (adding back HCL to my supplmentation, more meat, less veggies etc), is there any other things I can be doing for myself on EPFX in order to work through the stress?

Overnight I run the SSTT for PH in the Orgone Generator along with some other chosen numbers for my particular needs.

When you search for PH in the test matrix lots of things show up due to the fact that every word with PH is also chosen. Any ideas there?

I attend the first training in 3 weeks, and would like to be a bit more stable in order to learn all the information that will be new to me.

Thanks in advance for suggestions!

Patti

Alkalosis help

Greetings,

I am a fairly new EPFX user and have been blessed greatly with a local EPFX Practitioner that has taken time to teach me how this device works and mostly I can run a full protocol, such as anything in the Encyclopedia etc. I have a longstanding Alkalosis problem that has recently resurfaced. PP is always high and EP is low or normal 70-75 when I start my sessions (about once every 3 days). This may be pH issues and/or electrical embalance issues

Have you used the Auto Varhope? It is designed to help in this issue of imbalances.

When you search for PH in the test matrix lots of things show up due to the fact that every word with PH is also chosen. Any ideas there? Type ph and then put a space before it and after it this will limit the search to just items with ph

I attend the first training in 3 weeks, and would like to be a bit more stable in order to learn all the information that will be new to me.

Thanks in advance for suggestions!

Patti
