Guest guest
Every time we catch a "cold" we become immune to that one. As we get older we are more immune. The immune system IS miraculous. And, IMO, it will heal itself if it is deficient. Of course if we have survived we must have healed. If we're born with IG deficiencies, the body seems to adapt available IG's to provide healing., because healing does occur. How we adapt has a lot to do with the lifespan, I think. I don't know how much of that is nutrition stimulated. Just musing. In facton tuesday I incorporated into my lecture at GWU that fact and that I canremember some pretty bad flu bugs while in college. I still rememberfeeling faint from a sudden flu that hit me on the NYC subway while goinghome from classes. I had no memory of how I got home before collapsing inbed. I, and my then husband (who caught it from me), were sick as dogs witha horrible flu for about 2 weeks. I never forgot that bout of flu incollege. But since CRON, rarely sick.So I was disappointed yesterday when I felt a cold coming on. However todayupon waking up, it's just about all but gone.Miraculous, isn't it?
