Hello All,

How great...I spoke up about smart meters at a community meeting in Santa

(where I no longer live due to a cell tower) and they ran it on the front page

of the paper!  The reporter got a few things about both me and the issue wrong,

but other than that, it's a good article and no doubt will raise some awareness

in the city.

Also published this week, a letter I had written to the editor of my new local

city about smart meters.

If anyone would like to copy this letter to the editor, take my name and website

out and put yours in, by all means, please do!!  It had a word limit so should

fit most papers editorial needs and will save you time as it is already

written.  You just have to call your local paper and ask them to run it.

I am going to next publish in this paper the meeting date for residents here, to

inform them about smart meters, so you could do this in your local paper too.

The below flyer can help inform residents by passing it out to them and again,

you can just take my info out and replace it with yours.

It is much better to BLOCK smart meters from ever entering your neighborhood

than to try and play catch up after they are there and get them removed.  People

just don't know yet the harm they can cause.  Once they know, they will support

a total ban in their neighborhood.  With enough neighborhoods doing this, we

will get rid of them PERMANENTLY.

Great sharing!

http://emfsafetynetwork.org/?page_id=2840 has a good video, where dozens of

people, dozens!, testify to the harmful effects of the smart meter radiation.

http://www.stopsmartmeters.org front page also has a series of 4 videos of a

Monterrey county meeting with Hart and Nina Beety. Very good arguments

about how the smart meters are unwise, and how what is often claimed about them

is untrue.

http://stopsmartmeters.org/2011/06/16/winifred/ is another good video.
