Guest guest
I have used large diameter ferrite torroids with cables from a switching power supply, along with cables on my computer monitor, for this purpose. It's hard for me to quantify the difference since I only have an AM radio without signal strength numbers, but it does seem to me that choosing the right ferrite material for the job can reduce conducted RF. I got them from Amidon (I can't recall, unfortunately, which ones I tried): https://www.amidoncorp.com/categories/7 Bigger diameters cost more, but allow more turns of a cable through them. Would type more but I need to get off the computer soon. Good luck! R.
