Hi Becky,

I broke my big toe and arthritis set up in it. I didn't realize it until it

was a full blown case. When I would kneel to show a kid, or a goat stepped

on my toe, my foot would swell to unbelievable proportions. After a show

where I showed some kids, flexing my toe, I came home and had the most

horrible pain and swelling for days. I realized then what was going on and

why. Much later I resolved this with DMSO but back to my story.

I acquired a taste for avacados and began to eat them every day, probably

for 6 months, as is my MO. At least once a day I ate either guacamole with

chips or sprayed an iron skillet and cooked some tortillas on both sides,

then spread them with guacamole, rolled them up and ate them for a meal. It

was satisfying, tasty and a good way to lose weight as far as calories if

this is what you wanted to do.

One day it dawned on me I no longer had any problems with my big toe and

while I didn't know why at that time, was grateful.

Not too long after this I bought a Chinese Herbal book and was reading it

when I came across the statement that avacado was the very best oil for

arthritis.

This tells me arthritis is a lubrication deficiency for one thing.

Just an anecdotal story of how simple good health can be.

Baugh
