Very yummy. Or just eat the avocado with some seasoning of your choice. You could also slice it thin and make a sandwich with it with some raw onion or garlic and tomato. Lots of ideas for avocados. They are so good for you too. Mandolins are a very handy device to have I will admit as is a spiral slicer. You will enjoy using them I have no doubt. You are about to embark on a whole new food regimen. Some awesome meals coming from your kitchen soon I am sure. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. I only know it as a musical instrument.. > Suzi -------------------------------- A mandolin is a (usually) plastic device with a blade permanently connected to it. Sort of like a cabbage shredder. I has several triangular plastic pieces that fit into it next to the blade and on these triangular pieces are metals slicers that stand perpendicular to the plastic plate they are permanently connected to. There are usually two sizes for the slicers. One for making hash browns and another for making larger hash browns. <*grin*>. Then there is a little dohicky type thingy that is round with lots of plastice spikey looking things on the underside to help hold onto whatever you are slicing and dicing. They work really well and are pretty cool. How did I do on the technology description? -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
