Guest guest
Hello, I wanted to know if coconut oil works on rashes and skin inflammation. I just applied pure coconut oil on my granny's arm and it appeared to get rid of the redness and it appeared to have healed this one specific area on her arm( within 24 hours). I have now applied and socked her larger areas with coconut oil and will continue to clean and re-apply coconut oil on the affected areas. Will this help her heal her rashes? Guest guest
Hi , There are quite many incidences of cure of inflammation, infection, wounds, burns, bed sores using VCO. In my experience, it does not only help prevent infection. It speeds up the natural healing of the skin amazingly! Further, it is a skin lubricant - it helps prevent irritation and harm at skin friction points and areas. Might also work on your granny. Often reported that faster healing is achieved when applied frequently to keep the affected area moist with the oil. Guest guest
Hi I wo3uld like to add 2 points: the proverbial " Your mileage may vary " Be patient. Often the Coconut Oil, work very fast, most often it requires repeated applications for the healing process. Not weeks but days of repeated applications. The skin absorbs Coconut Oil quite well. I would add to apply it at the exclusion of all artificial medications which tends to work in contrary fashion. They mostly mask the symptoms, they do not heal..
