Furman surge strip question

Marc,

I just received the 8 outlet digital model. The are 2 plugs that are circled and

say digital, I know those would be for the DVD Player, and 2 that are circled

and say filtered while the rest don't say anything.

Does that mean only those 4 outlets are filtered? What should be plugged into

the filtered outlets-right now i have a VCR and TV plugged in.

P.S. I couldnt believe they packed it in that hard plastic shrink, I thought

something this expensive would come in a box!
