looking for a new dr for my husband and hopefully we'll have success

in finding a good one!

Was that your first visit with this Dr? If not, did he not exhibit this moronic behavior before? Run, don't walk to the nearest door!I had a neuro once that told me to read and do my own assessment of my MRI! Another moron.

He is pretty bad. I have run into a few bad doctors since I started this disease 27 years ago. Believe me you don't need that kind of treatment. I would never see him again. Good luck in finding someone that is a good doctor.

To bring you up to date briefly, Jimmy has had MS for close to 24 years and knows what he feels like normally,They put him on Rebif last August - he ended up in the hospital with 1 1/2 mos with a sever systemic infection and another infection in his knee. During that time he was off Rebif and felt much better. They put him back on Rebif and ever since he's felt lousy. He has severe hot flashes, his back pain is more intense than ever, his walking has gotten worse, etc.Today the Dr said he thinks it's all in his head. Would not discuss any other treatments and didn't care that most of these symptoms began after the Rebif. In fact he stated that he didn't care.He also told us that he would be glad for Jimmy to go to another neuro and that we had already taken up 40 minutes and it should have been a 20 minute appt!!!!Does anyone else think this is outrageous????? Or is it all in my head? Does anyone know of another good neuro in Pittsburgh? I do have a list of Dr's that prescribe LDN and I'm going to call tomorrow first thing.I would appreciate any suggestions or comments!!Thanks for listening!!Debbie

Believe it or not, this was our fourth visit. We never had any

indication that he was like this. Perhaps he didn't like that we

weren't coming in and saying that he was a miracle worker or

something and that we were asking questions. Who knows? We're

definitly on the hunt for a new dr!

I think these Dr.'s don't have much of a positive attitude bc there's not much positive to report in their narrow minded world.It seems they have lost hope, so it's hard to convey hope or wisdom to their patients.

was this guy's name Neil Dalhquist? how about

Foreman? no wait- they're still practicing in the twin

cities- and on the MS Societies recommended neuros

list no less.

It's so hard to find a good neurologist that cares.

I wonder why????

the one I have now doesn't do much- but at least he

talks to me civilized. And he's also not the one I got

my LDN prescription from. I got my script from Dr.

in wis.
