Guest guest
While relapses are always sad and scary. Could you pl. update us Noel when possible. Specifically, how long was it, what was the severity. We would all like to know of any LDN failures. LDN may reduce severity, or frequency, but it may not be 100 % effective. Having said that, nothing is 100 % effective anyway. Yash > managed to make the Irish Times today ... it is not available > on the net yet. Guest guest
Hi All .. I should have been more sensitive in my posting as I remember when Noel started LDN and I followed our 'Tag' who was Goodshapes wife Polly .. I followed her every move and feared when she would dip that LDN had failed and was not all that Dr Bihari claimed it to be .. and I would freak out. I now understand LDN (either that or I am the best in the world at living in denial!) and I suppose have hardened. LDN works 100% as Dr Bihari says it does. When my husband had a little stress or infection he would slip a little .. and bounce back. A slight inflammation of existing scarring. But he got the fright of his life a couple of weeks ago .. I passed out on him and needed immediate surgery for an ectopic pregnancy .. and that drama brought on this biggie. It is all consistent with the theory of LDN .. in times of stress or infection you can and may reach your lowest point pre LDN .. the existing scarring that is there is there for life (I don't buy that .. it will be cracked) LDN can only stop progression and remove the last 3 months of scarring. So, I am not afraid .. we just have to ride the wave .. it will take a month or two I guess but that is life. You can't avoid the stress that life brings and although the effects suck .. I am sure the LDN will pull through as it always did for Polly. I am sorry if I freaked anyone out . especially the newbies .. LDN works but the old MS scars suck.
