Now that I am divorce, it is harder, but I seem to take it a little better than when I was with that controlling man!

I am going to get test done, including a full TSH levels checked. My joints all hurt after a while and I gained 20 lbs in two months! THe doc said it should be mostly water. SO, I am on a no salt diet. I hope to loose the 20 soon. I never was overweight! I was always too skinny (they think I might have been hyper than!) I am learning somethings everyday, and there are some great people with great advice. Guest guest
Hi Michele, I hope you and Larry are having good luck with your financial arrangements. I think about you often. Please hang in there, things will get better…they have to, right? I would imagine that once they get this under control (hopefully after the surgery in six-months) things will start looking better. I don't remember for sure, but didn't ya'll change doctors after this latest ear infection and finding the new c-toma in Larry's other ear? I honestly believe that once you find the right doctor, things will improve. Don't let the bureaucrats get you down – just remember we are all here for you any time you need to blow off steam! > Hi everyone, > > The countdown begins and we have 28 days until Larry's surgery. Guest guest
Hi : I really think you will recognize me. V and Flo did once they heard me speak. That is only about 60 pounds since the cruise. I still haven't found my dress to wear. I did find one but you know me. I can't buy the first thing I see. I think I will go shopping tomorrow. Mickey is out looking for a part time job. He wants to support his habits. Golfing and fishing. I have not done as well as some in the weight department. I am happy with what I have lost and will settle for whatever life sends my way. 111#s in 1 year. One year ago I would have been happy with that and not complained so I am happy with it today. I just hope and pray that you will get your weight problem solved. It seems strange that all the ones that he did in March have all lost like gangbusters. Better close for now. Guest guest
: There are plenty of nice things out there at the department stores but I want to shop the consignment shops since I may not be this size long. The one dress I found was only 39$ but someone else liked it the first time they saw it and bought it. Just my luck. It was simple but eligant. I hurt for the ones who have had a problem with losing because I know I would hurt if it were me. I just pray you will get your revision and things will be better. Have you seen Dr. R. since your catscan or whatever it was you had the other week?. Phyllis

Guest guest
Phyllis, 60 lbs since the cruise in February is wonderful!! I think I've gained 60, well not that much, but I have gained. I have not weighed myself since my visit with Dr. in October, cause I know I am up and just don't want to deal with it. In Oct at his office I was 242 - ugh! So just look for the goodyear blimp, that'll be me! HA! Good luck shopping tomorrow, I'm sure you'll find something nice! Say hello to Mickey for me! {{hugs}} wrote: > Hi : I really think you will recognize me. V and Flo did once they heard me speak. That is only about 60 pounds since the cruise. Guest guest
Genny. I had surgery on 11/13/02. It will be 8 weeks on Wednesday and I have only lost 22 pounds. I'm happy about the weight loss but I get a little discouraged when I see that most people seem to lose 25-30 pounds a month. I'm also afraid that the weight loss with stop and I won't lose as much as I want to. How are you doing? Guest guest
HI Genny, I had my sugery on Nov 6th 02 also. I have not had any trouble with my gallbaldder. I am taking the Actigall which is said to help the prevention of gall stones. I have lost 43 bls to date and have been getting along fine. There were several weeks that I plateaued and did not loose. It was a little disconcerting at the time but now i seem to have about a 20lb monthly average. Re: Fw: Hi >Hi, >My name is Genny and I had surgery 11/6/02. Guest guest
Genny and Jen- After 2 years of reading this list I can honestly tell you that most, if not ALL of us have the same worries. You can find every type of scenario of weight loss. Some lose fast, some lose slow and steady, some stop after the first year and some lose for 2 years. Some stop losing for a year and then all of sudden lose more. It is all normal. You will be fine. Even when the scales don't move you will more than likely notice changes in how your clothes fit. Give yourself some time. The one thing I would caution you on is to make sure you are eating enough so that you don't go into " starvation mode " . Your body will hold on to every calorie if you don't eat enough to keep your metabolism burning. You have just begun! It will get better every day. Enjoy!! Guest guest
Hi , I'm taking the Actigall also, but I have pain and my liver enzymes are elevated. I'm meeting with my PCP tomorrow, but I'd rather avoid another surgery if I can. So far, I've only lost 20-22 pounds according to my PCP (10 pounds a month?) Genny Turano gturano@... Guest guest
Genny this is on the average. I lost only about 10 lbs a month but that is good cause it give your body time to adjust to the losing and also your skin time to keep up with the loosing. connie from Alabama Feb. 28, 01 288/198 Re: Fw: I feel that this surgery should be covered > > >because by ha... > > > > > > > > >> without a doubt it should. Guest guest
Dear Gale, I searched the net using google.com using the following key words: study, books, globes, study groups etc. I love the one with the cat in the study. Go to " Photos " on this site to see the former photos on the home page. My real 18 yr old cat, named Sylvester, died a week ago on Feb 8, 02, of advanced kidney disease. I love cats. So the cats on bookselves, study cats etc are my favorite. There will be more posted in the future. Studies and candelabras always remind me of Clue: Col. Mustard did it in the study with a candleabra. Anyway photos of your site are always great from Corbis. I posted on your site, but it was returned with a Mail Dameon. I figured it was because you are in the process of moving so I thought you may have shut down for a while. What gives? Love ya Jeanetta CPhT > That is a neat picture where did you get that very study user > friendly. gale(red)
