Guest guest
I read all the posts here daily and am always impressed with the number and quality of the ideas so many have had regarding getting the LDN message out. The number of LDN success stories and efforts to share them with the medical community is truly uplifting. But, it has struck me that perhaps one of our weaknesses is that so many are trying in so many directions at the same time that our efforts are being diluted. Perhaps it might make sense to try a unified approach. What if we picked one focal point each month, and then ALL us sent emails/letters to that contact point? Think of the impact it would make if a newspaper, doctor, NMSS or other " strategic " influence points were to receive so many messages extolling the value of LDN. I can't imagine that newspapers would miss the impact of such a story. Think of the impact we could have on a doctor that one of our members needs to influence so that they can get a prescription for LDN ! This would really be a way to help a member in need. If we can jointly cause some of these major influence points to respond in public ways, it will bring enormous pressure on those organizations that are reluctant to recognize LDN. It will also influence some of our doctors who don't know or want to know about LDN.
