could you please let us know ....are you relapsing remitting or progressive? I tried 1.5 and some of my old symptoms came back the next day, but I would like to try other amounts just for interest sake. I am ppms. for seven years now.Have had some real great results but want more!

low dose naltrexone

Subject: [low dose naltrexone] big publicity !

Hi, This is my first time here. I've been on LDN for 16 months. It haschanged my life. It took me a while to get the dosage optimal, butonce I did - wow!!!!!! I started at 3 mg, then tried 4.5 -that didn'tseem to change much. So, I went back to 3. Being occasionally absentminded, I forgot my dose one night, and Ifelt better the next day."Fluke," I thought. Then I forgot again weeks later - same scenario! Idecided to do it on purpose; it worked. I cut my dosage in half to1.5, and I've never looked back. That's my story... but now there is more a FRONT PAGE newspaperarticle about LDN!!!!!!! You can check it out at: www.reformer.com . Select the May 15, 2004 edition in the pull down menu. I's been thetalk of our area, which is southeastern Vermont. I hope you read it.We'll get it out there yet!Cheers, Vetresuccotas@...

Well

It sounds like you are the normal case for those with RRMS It just makes sense that if a person was apt to remit then the ldn would keep him in remission.

Now for those of us with chronic progressive we just have to get to where we are in remision and then the ldn will be as good as a cure.

Does anyone know of how we the progresive types can go into remission?

The ldn is kind of simulating a remision but only on select areas of disability for me!

Hey I can't kick (but thats the problem) I can't kick.Ldn has really done some good stuff in my life, but I still won't be able to work anymore.

So therefore I am not really that happy with my circumstances(THEY NEVER ASKED ME EITHER)

Hi Reg, Sorry it took a while. I have RRMS.I'heard different things aboutdosage. I started in the midle at 3 mg, took that for a few months, tried 4.5, then went back to 3. Maybe all that got my system a goodstart. I really don't know. I hear some people saying the higher dosehas worked better. I wonder if a base is needed to work on? I talkedto people at Dr. Bihari's office. Some one in his office who takes italso thought it was counterintuitive - less is more worked for me, butagain after the more first.Good Luck,--- In low dose naltrexone , "Reg Kreil" <regkreil@h...>wrote:> could you please let us know ....are you relapsing remitting or> progressive?
