Guest guest
There are several site stating the dangers. I pulled two sites and told others to google it and do there own reading. From: dutchdivco <jdutchmanjim@...>iodine Sent: Thu, August 4, 2011 11:33:46 AMSubject: Re: Advice You have pulled this information from 1 site, which, coincidentally, is selling their product, in the same sentence as they are falsly inflating the negative side effects pf pregnalolone. I can copy/paste from numerous sites, similar 'warnings' regarding the 'dangers' of taking Iodine. I can also c/p from numerous sites, recomending the responsible use of pregnalolone. You might look for more than one source, for information on any treatment, look for alternative motives, such as selling a product as an alternative, and avoid blanket statements such as never or always. Otherwise you run the risk of promulgating false information, and discouraging people from exploring treatments which could give them significant improvement. After all, what works for one person, may not work for another. Each of us is responsible for researching thoroughly, and then making our own healthcare decisions. I would point out that pregnalolone is sold OTC in the US, in doses from 10mg. to 100mg.While there is plenty that can be said (negatively) about the FDA, I doubt this would be the case if this were as dangerous as you imply by your post.Jim > > > > Can pregnelone be bought at the health food store or do you > > need a scrip? > > > > And, I too am healing adrenals but I have high cortisol, > > would pregnelone be good for me? > > > > Because since my adrenals have been unwell I have had > > Hypoglycemia and so when I am hungry I get adrenal pain. > > > > My hardest time is 3:30 Pm, 4Pm, where I need a meal with protein > > or I get bloated, gassy, abdominal pain, sleepiness. > > My cortisol levels have been tested but it has been a couple of years. > > > > But I never healed because I was addicted to caffiene. > > Since I quit (for two months) I belive I am healing. > > > > Would pregnelone be good for me, do you think? > > Thanks > > -Ali >
Guest guest
Actually, other than what you c/p'd from the 2 sites, you wrote; > " I wouldn't touch this stuff with a ten foot pole. Also you aren't suppose to > take it everyday, just a few times a week and not for a long period of time. " Scroll down and check, but I see NO WHERE where you encouraged people to google it, and do their own research.Just as you didn't c/p anything from sites which speak positively of it.We regularly blast lamestream medicine and Dr.'s for not being 'open minded'.Jim > > > > > > Can pregnelone be bought at the health food store or do you > > > need a scrip? > > > > > > And, I too am healing adrenals but I have high cortisol, > > > would pregnelone be good for me? > > > > > > Because since my adrenals have been unwell I have had > > > Hypoglycemia and so when I am hungry I get adrenal pain. > > > > > > My hardest time is 3:30 Pm, 4Pm, where I need a meal with protein > > > or I get bloated, gassy, abdominal pain, sleepiness. > > > My cortisol levels have been tested but it has been a couple of years. > > > > > > But I never healed because I was addicted to caffiene. > > > Since I quit (for two months) I belive I am healing. > > > > > > Would pregnelone be good for me, do you think? > > > Thanks > > > -Ali > > >
Guest guest
Ditto for me. I will take it for the rest of my life too. It is very cancer protective. My husband and children take it as well. I should get a copy. > Can't lose any weight - paleo diet (no grains, legumes, little dairy, little fruit) - good exercise with strength training. I am about 20 pounds or more overweight. Endo doc told me to exercise more and eat less....grrrr. I don't believe in the calories in vs. calories out theory. I also didn't lose a single pound on a ketogenic diet for 2 months. > Age - 42> Long periods (heavy the first few days and then spotting for up to 17 days)> > I take all of the companion nutrients and many other supplements. I took iodoral last year, but I got nervous and stopped. My ND is warming up to it, but wants me to use 4 prolamine (12mg) per day. I really respect her on most things, but not this. So, today I am up to 40 mg and just switched to Iodoral. > > Thoughts? Just asking if I am on the right track. Will this shrink my goiter, help me lose weight, get rid of the FBD? BTW, I am very anti-mainstream medicine, so I am inclined to skip this year's US and bloodwork, but part of me is curious. How long would it take to notice any difference from the Iodine. > > I appreciate anyone that is willing to comment on my current status. Nothing is life threatening or urgent, and I generally feel well. After starting the iodine, I have been very tired - hopefully this is a good thing. My ND says that she has discovered aluminum, mercury, and lead that I need to detox, so she gave me chlorella. > > Deidre>
Guest guest
The 40mg is approximate by combining the prolamine (from the ND to use it up) and the Iodoral. I definitely have IR and am no doubt toxic. Any further helpful ideas? I will up the iodine as I can tolerate. I am suffering from a lot of fatigue even with the companion nutrients. Thank you so much for all that you do! > > You will need to give it some time. Not sure how you got to 40 mgs on Iodoral. The tablets are 12.5 and 50 mgs. It took me getting to 100 mgs before I saw changes in my Fibrocystic breasts and PCOS. I also began to really detox at this level. Your inability to lose weight is probably related to toxicity and / or insulin resistance. I am seeing this over and over in people with thyroid and breast issues. > > Buist, ND HC > > > Advice > > > > I want to give some background and ask for advice. > > Fibrocystic Breast Disease - diagnosed by a thermogram (asymptomatic) > Multi-nodular Goiter - I was told that the I have the longest thyroid they have ever seen > One big nodule - biopsied 6-7 years ago - really hasn't changed much since the biopsy (not cancer) > " Normal " labs, but I don't have a copy of them to determine if they are mainstream normal AND realistic normal. Guest guest
I've been on the protocol for over 5 years and counting...... Linn > > > > You will need to give it some time. Guest guest
Does anyone have advice for this? I quit benzo's 5 mos ago. & am can't get past the parasthesia stage. The drug removal leaves the possibly malformed GABA receptors. Things could have moved on to MS or circulation issues. The only thing that has helped a little, is a B-12 blend w hawthorne berry. But I had this before I quit, so don't know. I started a itching & burning in the joints. No doc can figure it out yet. I won't get an MRI neuro's want. I am so screwed up I feel weird sensations even in my mouth & body from eating foods. I long for the days when I only felt full. It moved to sensations or if the sensations slow down the skin just burns. I wondered if this could be a parasite, as I was testied on the EAV w the remedy helping. If anyone has quit a benzo please write. I have moved on to not needing to lean on something to relax, but am stuck. I really don't want to go back to an rx, unless there is no other way. Many are made from gmo wheat or corn, as " pregelantized startch " , among lactose base, & dyes. Kathy
Guest guest
Hi Sherri, all that you discribe are autoimmune in origin, so you need to see someone like an imologist who understands immunology. my mum had a murmur and heart probssinus problems, which is hashimoto`s , she did not get a diagnoses, she also had three strokes, and died not knowing this. so get a proper diagnoses , or see one of our doctors, Dr S or Dr P. to get help. you may have conversion problems so you need to get all the tests that will pick this up.tests to get from dr are FT3 -FT4 and TPOAB. the other test you may like to do is the Adrenal one details in our files, this one your dr don`t do, but it is more acuratethan the one the NHS dos. Angel. who wishes she had known all this 40 years ago. ummmmm.
