Guest guest
Kellie, Same here! My 23 year old son lives with me until he finishes college this December, but for the most part, I'm alone, and I manage. If I need help, there are people I can call. I divorced my sorry no-count husband of 22 years 2 years ago. Did I want/need to? NO! I just couldn't take anymore of his out of control managing. He was keeping us broke (financially), and he refused to get help, so I divorced him. Now my bills are paid, and he's singing the blues because he doesn't have enough money to go out partying! Boo-hoo!! Anyway, I would like to date. You know, conversation, preferrably intelligent, over dinner. I'm not having much luck, as this wheelchair scares them off. I guess I'm attractive. People tell me that if it werent for the chair they wouldn't know anything was wrong because I look as good or better than ever. It's not like I want/expect committment! Any pointers would be appreciated! Help! As far as LDN goes: I started on 3mg and after 3 months went to 4.5 w/no problems. Bladder issues 75% - 80% improved. I sleep much better. I have more energy most days. I do feel as though progression has stopped. Of course, I was pretty progressed to start with! Date:5/12/2004 10:17:25 AM Central Standard Time From: hellkell1@... Reply-to: low dose naltrexone low dose naltrexone hey guys just asking group for some feedback on life and living with MS. Q1. Does anyone in group live alone and look after themselves independently with MS and all its physical problems like myself? How do you cope? Q2. Dating is scary stuff with MS as it is so confronting to other person when revealed you suffer with MS? I have decided there is no point not being up front from beginning as some physical things I cannot hide anyway- so I have told men and they disappear pretty fast (even after they say it's ok)- I am an attractive woman ,I am told - It would be interesting to hear back on other singles dating tips on this and their experiences? (any funny stories certainly would lighten up this group a little too?) LOL! Q3. A LDN question - For those in group - I need feedback on your experiences on first month to 2nd month on LDN and changes you noticed physically on LDN? I have had bad sight flare-up(amongst other things) - ( I am physically revisiting last 2 attacks old wounds pretty full on - what did others notice on this same thing and the outcome now further down the LDN road? I have complete faith in LDN- my intuition on this says hang in there- it just needs time ( I have been taking it for about a month now 3mg - 4 mg) gone off copaxone for about 2 weeks now. to see how LDN does on its own. Appreciate immensely guys your responses on any of these questions - Kellie from Sydney sending healing light to all
