Guest guest
Article from WebMD: http://my.webmd.com/content/article/86/99087.htm This article didn't mention if they were discussin high dose IV steroids like used for MS, vs. low dose, long term prednisone useage. Anyone have any insight on the difference? I guess this is least of our worries. But steroids have been in use forever, and they are just now finding out a long term risk factor like this. It makes me wonder what long term effects are to be faced by those of us that got run through a mixture of immune system tinkering drugs like the ABCR's and Novantrone, which have a shorter history of use. Not to mention dollops of steroids along the the way. Thank god those of us lucky enough to have found LDN can now ween off the scary stuff. This is my 3rd week since stopping Avonex & going solo w/ LDN, so far improvement continues.
